Dr. Benatar is an amazing doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr. Benatar since diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in 2015. I have the upmost respect and appreciation for all he has done for me over the years. Dr. Benatar, his assistant Digna and Staff are always a phone call away when I am in need. I will forever be grateful to this extraordinary doctor and person for truly saving my life during my first Acute Myasthenia Crisis in 2016. I could not breathe as my diaphragm was not working. Dr. Benatar assisted my husband, Kenny while I was in a local hospital’s ER over an hour away from the University of Miami. They were my “Champions.” With Dr. Benatar’s guidance, Kenny was my “Advocate and Voice.” Long story short, this ER had no idea on how to treat a patient in an Acute MG Crisis. To date, Dr. Benatar continues to monitor and see me in person at least twice a year. He also provides assistance with regulating my medications to keep me stable to much success. I highly recommend Dr. Benatar without any reservations.

This is about a visit that never happened . I send a message to this so-called “neurologist “ because I was having dizzy spells and vertigo so he could prescribe something for it and the answer was “go see your PCP”. Those symptoms are neurological in nature and not for a PCP to handle!!! “Dr” Benatar always passes the buck , not the first that this happens. He’s condescending and think he’s always right!!! Do not recommend him!!!! Cause next time you a need neurologist he’ll send you to your PCP!!! Wow Wow Wow!!!!!

Condescending and rude! Completely USELESS! Worst bedside manner ever, learn to talk to patients with respect and not think you are holier than thou. Only cares about self, forget about patients and their families.

Dr Benatar missed the diagnosis completely even though I provided test results and records. He told me to stop all medications, causing me to have a huge relapse of my condition.
