Dr. Buia is the most competent and caring physician we have ever encountered. Our entire family goes to her. She is smart, funny and always puts us at ease. Her staff is wonderful and her nurse never misses when drawing blood. While going to the doctor is never fun, Dr Buia and her staff are as good as it gets. I even went to her for the brief time when she was not on my insurance, because she is the only physician I trust.

Dr. Buia has been our family physician for more than 35 years. She has treated our entire family and we all have nothing but praise for her personal interest in our health. She also has a competent staff that accommodates our every need. Without exception, Dr. Buia takes her time with each patient, never rushed. Our satisfaction with Dr. Buia transcends the long physical distance that separates us, as we continue to visit her every 6 months since the year 2000 when we moved 400 mile away.

Dr. Buia has too many patients to give effective medical care. She is consistently very late and her front desk staff is cold and rude at times. Not that that's unusual for Miami and she is kind and seems reasonably knowledgeable. But, don't count on her for anything beyond the basics. The priority seems to be patient count and what your insurance will pay, instead of your good health.

Dr Bua is a great when you get to see her. She's absolutely TERRIBLE on time which kills coming to see her. My best advice for those seeking a new doctor is to avoid coming to see her. You will spend more time in the waiting room than actually seeing her. I had the first appointment in the morning and she shows up at her office 30 minutes afterwards. My time is just as precious as the next person. Stay away.

Turns out I was having weird symptoms from an IUD device. Two other family doctors could not figure it out. Dr. Buia took her time. She changed my life. I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!! BEST DOCTOR EVER ... even THOUGH, caveat emptor: the wait time is LOOOONG. (Bring an iPad) ... but the staff is super nice.

I can't tolerate her waiting time, I made my appointment at 9:00 a.m. and by 12:00 p.m. I was still in the waiting room without hope because they are two patients ahead. I have to leave without seeing her because I was schedule another appointment at 1:00. I have to agree that she is kind but as a patient you deserve respect with your time.
