As a Gulf War/Desert Storm Veteran. Bruce Carter VA Hospital has been a lifeline for me for many years now. Time and time again the doctor's/nurses/assistant's/counselors/and coordinator's have come through big time for me. I have struggled with mental health issues/family issues/financial issues/employment issues/housing issues in the past. Somehow these people do care very deeply and get me up and running again over the course of many years now. I cannot thank this great facility enough for making me a better person. Physically/mentally/financially/and especially health-wise/health care. Thank you so much.

I have received care a 2 difference Northern California clinics, the San Francisco VA Hospital, the Sunrise Florida clinic and the Bruce Carter Medical Center. The Bruce Carter Hospital was far and away the most responsive, most sensitive and best care I have ever received. Thanks!

I am deeply disappointed in this VA emergency room. I’ve had bad experience with the VA but nothing like this. I came in with body aches, horrible sinus infection and excessive cough with flem. I spent 3 hours in the emergency room. They took me out in the hall to place a man that came in after me in the room. I never received any type of treatment and all that what said to me was that I had a virus (didn’t even do blood test)and that there was nothing they could do about it. The Dr. Told me to take mucinex and Claritin and they discharged me without giving me any medication. It’s so hurtful and disappointing to see how the VA system treats veterans. Another horrible VA hospital… So sad.

The worst parking lot you will every experience in your life. Inside the building its filled with rude employees, that repeatedly yell at you. Dirty common areas and bathrooms. Rude staff. I hate this place.

Compared to the horror stories of other locations I've heard from other veterans, this place isn't bad. I get the care I need within reasonable time and the staff is quite professional.

All medical needs for Vetrens are taken care of along with other programs to help them as well.

“Ambassador of first impressions” fail compared to VA locations in other states I was disappointed. Safety wasn’t always observed eg x Ray. Some of the doctors and nurses even security personnel are fine but much of the staff are indifferent to patient care I’ve come to conclusion after 3 days here

This medical center has greatly improved since I first started coming here in the 1990s. The renovations and upgrades have been awesome & the quality of care is much improved. It's staffing has been fixed & the personel are very helpful & friendly.
