Radical prostatectomy performed by Dr. Manoharan. There were major complications after the surgery. Hematoma in pelvis requiring hospitalization 1 week post surgery. Lymphoceles requiring CT-guided drainage 1 month post-surgery. Impotence as a result of radical prostatectomy. I am a rather young man with no comorbid conditions. Never smoked. I asked Dr. Manoharan about his operative statistics prior to the surgery. I was assured by him that he didn't have the data but that the statistics were "good" with minimal complications. I trusted him. Big mistake. Do not have this surgeon operate on you. He has never contacted me regarding my surgery which shows that he is not tracking post-operative statistics.
