Dr Tanenbaum is a great surgeon! Very professional and knowledgeable.

Claudia, the woman who sets up appointments and checks people in doesn't seem to care about patients at all. My husband had an appointment that he made months ago (it was the first time they could see him). He called a week before the appointment to confirm the appointment and confirm they took his insurance (since it had changed since the appointment was made. Claudia also called the day before to confirm the appointment and he answered on speakerphone and everything seemed in order during that time as well. When he showed up the day of the appointment, she had him fill out all the paperwork, and it wasn't until after he completed the paperwork that she asked for a referral. This is something she didn't mention the week before when he called or the day before when she called him. My husband told her he didn't know he needed one and she didn't mention it a week earlier, but she didn't care. He then told her he'd call a previous doctor that had referred him to their office to get the referral and wait in the waiting room while it comes in, but she told him no. She said they would have to reschedule for August!!! You can't make this up. He had a condition that should have be treated months, but waited all this time to see Dr. Tanenbaum and now she wanted him to wait several more months. What she should have done is allowed him to wait or squeezed him in later in the day. I called the office later to ask if she could squeeze him in, but she still refused. He later called again as well to confirm she had the referral and she confirmed she did, but yet she still wouldn't squeeze him in. He asked to be added to a cancelation list, but never got a call. I also asked that Dr. Tanenbaum himself call so we could let him know what happened and how this was handled, but two weeks later and we never heard back. I totally get that certain paperwork is needed, but he literally called the week before to ask if all was in order for his appointment. Since she never mentioned a referral ahead of time, she should have been professional and squeezed him in. One would think since he didn't end up doing his appt earlier in the day, that the doctor would now be running a little ahead of schedule, so therefore squeezing him in shouldn't be that hard, but she had zero compassion. He even pointed out how bad his eye looked and she didn't seem to care one bit. I hate writing reviews like this, but I thought others should know what they are dealing with. Also it's a shame no one in charge of the office called us back so we could talk to them about what happened and all this was handled.

I had a wonderful experience At dr. Tannenbaum office. He was very professional and very knowledgeable And always a gentleman and he would explain everything to me in ways that I could understand I recommend him highly to anybody.

I had upper blepharoplasty on both eyes done by Dr. Tannenbaum and I could not be any happier. Before the surgery I was concerned about how my face expression would change and If would still look like me after the surgery. My eyes expression improved considerably, I look younger and refreshed, no more tired-eyes look all the time and I look like me. Family and friends only realize I did the surgery after I tell them and show them the before and after pictures and they are marveled by the subtle but impacting change. Dr. Tannenbaum explained what results I should expect, he provided concise instructions for the post-op week and explained very clearly what would happen along the recovery process so I would know what to expect. This made the recovery process easy and uneventful and I also had various post-op visits for stiches removal and follow up. The team at Baptist hospital was very professional and my surgery day was very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Tannenbaum.

Dr. Tanenbaum came highly recommended by several friends of mine. I had bilateral Blepharoplasty in October 2020 and I’m very pleased with the results. My eyes look refreshed and so natural nobody thinks I had surgery. Dr. Tanenbaum is very professional, take time with every patient and explain what would happen in every stage after the surgery. After years considering which surgeon to go to I’m glad I chose him.
