Terrible bedside manner. My pregnant wife and I came in to see if she had progressed to active labor, only to be treated so rudely by Dr. Nwosa in Kendall Baptist Hospital. She discredited my wife’s pain, spoke down to her about how dilated she was, and seemed to be in a general rush even though it was later in the night and there was only one other patient besides us. My wife was in tears after going through the pains of regular contractions only to find out that much hadn’t progressed as much as we thought and on top of that Dr. Nwosa arrogantly dismissed her pain as if it wasn’t real. Instead of taking the opportunity to educate first time parents who have obviously never been through this, she was patronizing to the point of making my wife feel dumb for not knowing how to navigate her FIRST pregnancy. Spoke to her supervisor to learn that this wasn’t the first complaint against her. Unsurprising. Find yourself an OBGYN that knows the meaning of sensitivity.
