Dr Pedro Carvajal is an excellent Orthopedic doctor and I would highly recommend him. He is extremely professional. The physical therapy staff is also excellent. Juan and Lisa are very friendly and always willing to help with great professionalism. Thank you
This Doctor doesn't care about their patients, when you go into the office you can't sit inside, you have to go outside rain or shine, he had a 90 yr old lady in a walker go outside in the heat and wait to be called. I know that there is a Pandemic, but this Doctor and his staff are going over board with keeping his patients outside. But he does require to get his payments as soon as you check-in. I don't recommend Carvajal because he doesn't care about his patients.
The doctor was pretty friendly , not bad. But the front office is a joke. She has been very rude to me since my initial visit. I am not sure what she is angry about. In my first visit when I asked her, if I could get access to my X-ray, her reply sounded very rude. Definitely the wrong person to sit at the front desk. They need to be kind, friendly , treat every one with respect and make people comfortable. It was totally opposite. I have been having stiff neck for a while and decided to visit this place based on my colleague's referral. Doctor recommended a few sessions of PT and Juan, the physical therapist was awesome. I did cancel my PT sessions twice on the same day morning as I was feeling sore and couldn't really wake up from my bed. They did not tell me anything about the no-show $25 fee when I called and cancelled on the same day. But when I finally go for my 4th visit and I was talking to another woman at the front desk, this woman interrupts our conversation and tells me

But when I finally go for my 4th visit and I was talking to another woman at the front desk, this woman interrupts our conversation and tells me she is going to charge me $25 (in a very rude tone, disrespectful as if she was punishing me for something bad). I felt humiliated and I was really angry and I cancelled all my follow-ups . In retaliation, she charged me another $25 no-show because I was cancelling the 4th session for the way she treated me. How can you treat your patients like this? You should be shameful. No one should have to go through this. Never saw this happen in USA.!! The doctor was right there when the conversation was happening and he did not even bother to say something. For this, I hold the doctor accountable for not having good staff at his front desk. Advice to the management. 1) Treat patients with respect. 2) Send reminders/text message to patients about their appointments. No one in this digital age calls their patients a day before to remind them. 3) Bother to ask patients why they are not able to make it if they have cancelled for some reason. 4) If the patient has an appointment with a particular Physical therapist and they are out of office, you have an obligation to let the patient know. Don't expect every patient will be okay to do a session with a different PT. I came for a third session and realized the PT was out of office and I had to leave , wasting my time. BTW, unlike how you treated me , I never even complained about it. 5) When you expect the patients to pay their copay before having the PT session, make sure the front desk window is open or at least have a desk call bell, if you are not available. You literally had the front desk window close for the 2 visits when I wanted to pay. On my 4th visit, I was told to pay the money before I could have the session. They gave me a feeling as if I was intentionally ignoring to pay the co-pay. Look at your camera feed and see how each time I tried to pay my co-pay before having the session and how you guys had it closed.

Staff is amazing
Complete professional, thorough, exacting. Great office staff. I required knee replacement and cannot emphasize the improvement I now experience.
Dr. Carvajal recently operated my knee the results could not have been better. He has an excellent practice with a very efficient team of administrators, nurses, techs working alongside with him. The post operative care provided by his rehabilitation was impeccable and crucial to my recuperation. I am very happy with the results of my surgery and the care provided by Dr. Carvajal and his team. Thank you, Jorge Vazquez.
Amazing doctor, very knowledgeable, takes his time to explain everything. Very methodical in his approach and always looks for the best possible treatment option.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
