Súper Complacida hoy visite ese Hospital con mis 2 hijas una atención increíble desde Emergencias hasta todo el procedimiento de mis 2 hijas en menos de 3 horas y medias salí de allí con todo bien explicado un pequeño cuadro viral de catarro en mi baby de 2 años y la grande de 9 años las 2 con lo mismo .Peso , medición de temperatura , todo lo que requería muy amables el team de Enfermeros Gel y Pedro thanks ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏 Dios Muchas Gracias porque cuidan bien a los Childrens y merecen que también se les dé mérito ☝️☝️. My son had sx to dissect &repair his vascular ring.. Dr Burke and his team were thorough Keeping us informed about what comes next and AALLLL of the options.. including the risks and responsibilities for each... Most surgeons ( albeit not those dedicated to pediatrics lol) I’ve found aren’t quite so involved with patient care.. I had a personal number I could call or text 24 hours both before pre op and well after his discharge.. I even received an email from the team a few weeks after we’d been home inquiring how we were doing and “if it’s ok can u give us an update on him and share some photos”! It is mire then just ok.. it’s how it should be! Thanks dr Burke not only for giving my son the new heart tune up n wicked cool ya too haha.. thanks from bottom of my family hearts to you n your staff for putting the human back in ethics and humanities!

How can I say enough wonderful things about the man and team who saved our son's life? Dr. Burke, and the incredible team at Miami Children's Hospital, operated on our son in early 2005. Nearly a decade later, our son is doing great! Every time he gets a routine echo on his heart, we hear the cardiologists say same thing, "Wow! What an incredible repair he had! Wow, Dr. Burke did this! You were so lucky to have him! Sam's heart repair is perfect!" And, every time we thank God for bringing Dr. Burke into our path. Sam was born in December, 2004, with a complete AV Canal and tetralogy of fallot. He was also born with Down syndrome. After spending a month after birth in the NICU at Shands (UF), Sam was transferred to Miami Children's for surgery. Nine days post repair, Sam went home with us!! Today, his heart definitely never holds him back. Sam plays Miracle League baseball, takes gymnastics classes, has a huge goofy smile and loves to be outside. He has never, ever had any complications as a result of the surgery. Had it not been for Dr. Burke and the grace of God, Sam wouldn't be a part of our family. THANK YOU, Dr. Burke, and thank you Miami Children's Hospital for saving our son's life. Sam's faint scar on his chest reminds us of you every day, and we will never forget what you did or the beautiful care Sam received at Miami Children's Hospital. May God bless you.

I'm a new mom, this was very hard for me. Dr Burke was very kind and made us feel like our baby would be ok.

Dr. Burke is both knowledgeable and caring; a combination that is difficult to find with many physicians. He takes the time to explain what his team will be doing and is willing to hold your hand and answer any and all questions, no matter how long it takes.
