Dr. Figueroa comes across as an extremely knowledgeable doctor on first visit. He performed a discectomy and placed rods to correct scoliosis which required two surgeries. When I woke from the first surgery, my right leg was paralyzed. After the second surgery, I awoke to more back pain than I had prior to surgery. I now am in the process of finding another doctor to correct the mess he created. I would strongly urge people to seek an alternate neurosurgeon.

Dr Santiago saved my life! I was under excrutiating pain, and was very afraid of surgery. He sat with me and my family, thoroughly reviewed various options and made us all feel good with the minimal invasive surgery he suggested. Day after lumbar fusion, I am standing. a couple of weeks after, I am flying back home. no more lumbar pain for me! my whole family owes Dr Santiago. thaaaanks for your kind matters and excellence in your service.

I suffered 1 year of non stop back pain taking all types of drugs getting up at 3am from the pain went to all types of doctors took them the MRI all i heard was you need to strech more then a co worker told me how this Doctor save him from the same i was going through went to see him he look at the MRI and said here is your problem i did not see that in other doctors i can tell right on the spot he is the real deal. Did the surgery he fixed me.To me he is a pro,God bless him and his family.

If today I can live as a normal person doing simple things like stand up, bend to pick up something, even walk and run is thanks Dr. Santiago Figuereo, had performed an excellent surgery on my L5 hernied disk, that nobody wanted to touch So I do recomend him to anybody that is suffering for problems in the spine.

I had two surgery's with Dr. Santiago Figuereo and both have been great, first my Neck in Aug. 1, 2016 and then my Lumber which was done in two parts Oct 1, 3, 2016 at Adventure Hospital and I was treated like a King. I have nothing but the best to say about Dr. Figuereo. Carlos Hernandez

I am trying to be fair but my neck surgery which was done on March 07, 2016, at Aventura Hospital by Dr. S. Figueroa was a colossal failure. To add insult to injury, Advanced Neuro Surgery was notorious for not returning phone calls and flat out lied. I made the biggest mistake of my life letting this doctor operate my neck. Please re-think having surgery unless is a last chance.

When I was refereed to Dr. Santiago Figuerero I couldn't walk I was operated on November 2, 2012 since then I have recuperated so well that I don't have any more pain and problems with my spine. He is a master physician and I highly recommend him to all. Sincerely, Ivan Becerra

Dr.Figuereo, is an excellent, astute , patient and caring Neurosurgeon who have been Blessed by God Jehovah with his experience and talents. Dr. Figuereo knew what he had been created by his Heavenly Father to become an expert in the field of Neuro sugery! I have been a patient of Dr. Figuereo since my back surgery in 2013. I had an appointment on 2/27/17 at the Kendal office at 2 PM. When I arrived at the Kendal office I found two notices posted on the doors to the dark empty office. The notices said that the practice had gone bankrupt and is no longer operating. What a shocking way to find that you no longer have a physician. Patients received no notification and were left without anticipated treatments, medications, etc.

This is not the right way doing practice about 10 months ago my mother had 3 surgery recently she's in follow up wth 3 different Drs from Advence Neuro and spines institute about two weeks ago I received a call from the office everything is short down just like tha without any notice, my mother still not doing well after all now she left on her own I don't know what to do the beginning things seems to be ok now it's just crazy I'm praying they return back to normal business.
