Dr. Shaffiey is an excellent pediatric surgeon.We live in the Caribbean and our six year old son needed his gallbladder removed. This was a scary and stressful situation for our family as we had never heard of a child so young requiring this operation. We decided to go to the best and that’s why we chose the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Shaffiey was super professional, knowledgeable, kind and answered all our questions. He put us at ease. We knew we were in great hands. The operation was a success and Dr. Shaffiey was just as involved in the aftercare and follow up. We highly recommend Dr. Shaffiey and are forever grateful for his excellence, and the professionalism and dedication of all his colleagues at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Doctor shaffiey is my son surgery doctor in nicklaus childrens hospital since October 2021, he does some surgery to my son product to ulcerative colitis that he did eleostomy and j poch and the reconection to him with the illeon, he is amazing doctor ,very professional, he explained everything choices, he is very nice. With a great empathy for his patient and parents , I'm recommend to him at 💯 %

Best Surgeon ever my son was born with Gastroschisis (where babys are born with their intestines outside of their body & has to be placed back in )and Dr Shaffiey saved his life he has a 1:47 minutes surgery and everything my my little ones Nelly started working probably right away recovered in 30 days and is today 5 months old eating pures and being the healthiest baby no scars no signs of surgery ,forever greatfull for you Dr🙏

Our son was transferred to Nicklaus Childrens Hospital under Dr. Shaffiey's care for emergency surgery on his intestines 2 days after birth. It was an unexpected and life threatening situation. Dr Shaffiey was extremely thorough and attentive to every detail. He personally explained each step of the process to us & provided all the info we needed to make the best possible medical choices. Our baby's surgery went better than we could ever have expected and now, a year later, our son is fully recovered. We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shaffiey. He operated on our almost 2 year old daughter in a very stressful situation and he was so kind to us through the whole process. Constantly making time to answer questions and moving his calendar to accommodate our urgent needs. We will always be grateful to Dr. Shaffiey and his whole team.

Dr Shaffiey is a great Dr. My son had a tumor in his right adrenal gland and Dr Shaffiey removed it. He made what was a scary situation a success story. He made us understand everything that was going on. And answered all my questions. I recommend this Dr and I'm grateful for his services.

Dr. Shaffiey is a great pediatric surgeon! He performed surgery on my three year old son who had a right inguinal hernia. The surgery process came out as successfully. The doctor listened and answered all of my doubts and questions and was very kind. He was also on time in all appointments with my son. I really recommend his services as a trusted provider!
