I had a very negative experience. I am a new patient. I'd made my appointment at least 6 weeks ago,spoke to a person when scheduling the appointment. I received an automated confirmation stating exact day and time. When I arrived at the doctor's office I was told I was not in the "book" for an appointment. I showed the front desk lady my automated confirmation. She could not give me another appointment until more than a month from now. Needless to say, a VERY NEGATIVE experience!!

Consistently dismissing, uncaring and rude. Tried to see him when my ENT diagnosed my acid reflux and asked me to see a gastroenterologist after two or three years of looking at my throat and finding it very irritated. I was Dr. Behar’s patient and had seen him for a colonoscopy (seconds prior to which he had been playing with his cell phone) so I asked for an appointment. I was given one for 6 months later despite explaining my ENT had asked me to see him. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. His office called me to schedule my colonoscopy months later and I told them I was no longer his patient. A year later I had the most through colonoscopy I have ever had plus an endoscopy performed by a graduate of John Hopins Medical School. What a difference!

Dr. Simon Behar is great, he is a specialist in his field, however it is close to impossible to get hold of anyone at his office. The automated phone system is very annoying and a way to advertise their services and after few minutes the line will disconnect. I fail to understand if any office of service provider have so much business, why they would not hire more people to take calls and sign up new patients or to provide service to existing customers or patients in this case. I had a question on my prescription and called the office literally 6 times and got disconnected after few minutes and never got hold of anyone. Is this how the businesses supposed to operate these days. Who said our economy was in the gutter... when all of the businesses today have more than what they can chew.
