Nunca antes me había sentido tan poco ser humano en ningún lugar. Tan desolada y mal atendida. Estuve en emergencia y lo que hicieron después de asignarme un cuarto, fue dejarme tirada ahí por horas incluso sin monitoreo, pues después de pedir que me lo quitaran para ir al baño, ya no volvieron a colocármelo, la atención de la enfermera fue totalmente mal educada y poco profesional. Me hicieron creo todos los estudios correspondientes, pero asumo que después llega la parte que les gusta, que es la de cobrar, a la que sí le ponen todo el empeño requerido, al final terminé yéndome a mi casa a las 4 am pq la verdad prefería salir de ahí y regresar a mi cama, aunque corriera el riesgo de volver a sentirme super mal... no es justo, ni humano que estudien profesiones que requieren empatia, solidaridad y compromiso ético, si no lo tienen... serían mejores profesionales si se dedicaran al "arte de vender croquetas" tal vez tratar con la harina, se les de mejor que tratar con seres humanos con algún malestar!!! No vuelvo nunca más a este hospital! Y NO REQUIERO NI DE UNA DISCULPA NI QUE ME CONTESTEN QUE LO LAMENTAN, LA QUE LAMENTO ESTAR EN ESTE HOSPITAL FUI YO Y NO PIENSO REPETIRLO

My husband is in the CCU. He is intubated and on a ventilator. Because of COVID-19 we have not been allowed to go in and stay with him to be his advocate in the hospital. We have had a very hard time contacting and speaking with any doctors. We have not heard from a single doctor in over 24 hours after being told he is in critical condition and every hour counts. We have called several times asking for doctors to call and give us an update, but no one will call us back. Most of the CCU nurses have been incredible and have been willing to answer the phone and give us as much information as they are allowed to share. In my book the nurses deserve 5 stars. Good communication is vital, especially with a complex patient. As family members we are trying to be advocates but it is hard to be an advocate when no one will call us back.

This hospital is holding covid patients as prisoners and REFUSING to provide their patients with LIFE SAVING medications that are PRESCRIBED by their very own doctors!! The father of #AlexNewman is experiencing this deprivation right at this moment and there is no excuse for this. This is nothing short of a CRIME, even actual prisoners receive their medications. NO FAMILY is allowed to accompany these covid patients, which means they have no advocate to make sure their human and civil rights are not being violated, which they clearly ARE in this hospital!! Not to mention they are committing an egregious violation of the Nuremberg code. SHAME on the doctors and nurses who are choosing a financially incentivized and lethal “treatment” protocol discovered by FAUCI, a criminal, and doing direct harm to their patients. How do they sleep at night? Aren’t they aware that the U.K. has now launched a criminal investigation into cOvïd crimes? Are they really willing to go to prison for being complicit in crimes against humanity just to keep their job? Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL if your loved one gets sick, consult their doctor and let them be treated at HOME with one of the many medications that work well to heal them!! Terrible experience in the ER. The nurses were hostile and rude. Once they brought me into a partitioned area, I was left there for hours without any consultation. The patient next to me was screaming for a nurse repeatedly and the nurse kept yelling at him. It was a horrible experience— not one person came to see me and I ended up just walking out of the hospital due to negligence.

South Miami hospital used too be a great hospital, but my experience today has been really disappointing.I got there at 10:00 in the morning they did not have a Hoyer lift to move a patient from the wheelchair to the ER bed I have been waiting in the wheelchair for 3 hrs and still have not been seen by a dr. Not transferred to the bed.South Miami hospital lost my confidence.

They should have better care with babies, they don't mind alarms. The respiratory service is not good although it should be the best. All staff are waiting to finish their shift to earn money and go home regardless of all the poor work done. They are very vulnerable babies and must be more thorough in their services. Doctors and nurses do much better, but respiratory therapy is mostly a terrible service.

The wound care section is above standard. Pat was one of the most knowledgeable nurses I've worked with so far. Care was above and beyond and I felt like I was in good hands leaving this office.

I just wanted to come here and share my experience from last night at the ER in South Miami Hospital.The staff is not only Top in their Profession ; but also kind and caring.From the moment you walk in ; they are there to help you in anyway and care about you which is why I'm leaving this review.I was helped and cared for by an outstanding Nurse named  Sylvia. What a kind and caring person she is not only with me but with everyone she encountered. I felt cared for in a way that I have never experienced. They are  there to help and heal you !! I am grateful for her and all staff here!! They are raising the bar when it comes down to patient care!!I highly recommend South Miami Hospital!  They are healers !! We've been here since Nov 1st with our mom who is hospitalized. We don't enough good words to compliment this piece of heaven on earth. These halls are filled with angels full of love. You feel the love, compassion and professionalism everywhere you go. From CCU our nurse Janin Herrara's passion was seethru and then everyone in the 6th floor Pavillion has been a Godsend. Ana the respiratory therapist who goes above and beyond as do her nurses Izzy, Kerwin, Vida, Yader, Chris as well as the nurse assistants Julia, Ismy, Makaila, Malik what an amazing team. Last but not least I must congratulate the Human Resources Dept. for hiring so many amazing people. Thank you all so much.
