Place is horrible would not recommend a appointment here....
Visité el centro el viernes. Tuve una excelente atención, muchas gracias en especial a Leonor Rodriguez y a Raúl Bravo. Su atención y ayuda fue de primera!
My MRI experience was great. They took me in on time, the technicians were skilled and made it easy for me. They were also professional and friendly, which took away some of the stress of going in for an MRI. Nancy was my technician, she was amazing. She took great care of me and the process was fast and as painless as a contrasted MRI can be.
Very clean and organized place, all the personnel are great professionals and very caring. The appointment was on time, without delays. Thank you! Would recommend this plaçe to whoever needs MRI
Would avoid going if possible, every time I go for mri scan either 1hr or 2 hour delay, they don’t inform you of the delay till you arrive. No respect for their patients lives.
Very polite and accommodating. The MRI technician was wonderful, and the experience was great.
UHealth Applebaum Imagining Center Couldn't have been more accommodating to meet my needs despite being very late for my appointment. They were all extremely nice and went out of their way to make me feel comfortibel. -Nelson C.
Ines and the rest of the staff here did a tremendous job taking care of me. Great facility.
This place is a disaster. I knew things were going to go terribly wrong when a week before my appointment they call me to remind me of my "next colonoscopy." I've never seen a colorectal specialist at UM, and there is no NEXT colonoscopy because I've never had a colonoscopy in my life. Despite that, I let it slide and proceeded to wait for my appointment. They finally set my appointment for my MRI. A lady named Mariella calls me from there at 5:02 pm the day before my appointment and leaves me a message to call her back with no other explanation. I called her at 5:10pm and left a message. Fast forward to the day of my appointment, and I called four different times and always got her voicemail. I finally make it to the MRI center and because of the COVID-19 pandemic they make you call a phone number and wait outside. There is no attendant or anyone to help you. After waiting ten minutes on hold with a recording, in the sweltering heat, someone answers and does a whole battery of questions about my medical history. This is where it got interesting: The representative tells me that because of a certain risk factor I have revealed in this screening questions in that call,, they now need to perform an X-RAY of my body first before the MRI, and since I never answered when they called me to pre-screen me the day before, I might have to forfeit my appointment and get a new one where they can accommodate both the X-RAY and MRI. He tells me he'd call me in five minutes.. That was another lie. After twenty minutes in the heat I called back, and he finally tells me indeed I'd have to reschedule. Would you trust a place that operates on this level with your health?? To add insult to injury UM has an app they almost strong arm you into using if you want to go to your appointments. I used the app earlier the same day of my appointment, where I answered the exact same pre-screening questions the man on the phone asked me as I naively waited to go inside. So this means the folks at this place had three different chances to make this right and they screwed them all up. And speaking of x-rays, what kind of diagnostic center doesn't have an x-ray technician and machine on staff? Don't let all the fancy UM marketing fool you. This place is ultimately affiliated with Jackson and is an ok place if you have no insurance and can't afford something more professional. There is nothing “world class” about this kind of medical care. If you have insurance, do yourself the favor and find a decent place where they don't make these kinds of mistakes. Your health can be in much better hands if you have insurance.
I came to bring my wife as a patient. First of all they never respect the appointment time. I waited more than an hour over app time. When I went to tell them to let me go to the restroom, they told me to go somewhere to find a restaurant. If I brought a patient doesn’t mean we are a dogs to be treat like one. It’s unfair how they treat customers If you have chance to choose another place, please do so.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
