He saw me while I was an inpatient last year and he had a lot of patience with me. I was very scared but he really did help me through my whole ordeal. It was the first time that I was in the hospital, and since I have not had to go back. I have been seeing him in his office and he really is a great doctor. Atrocious bed side manners. Does not take his time to answer questions, and disrespects family members concerned for their loved ones. I have worked in the medical field for over 7 years and I have encountered diva doctors, but Dr. Canaan is by far the most cruel.
