Dr. Hovda did an excellent job. She explained everything I needed to know very thoroughly. Would highly recommend her.
Dr.Hovda is always upbeat and cares for her patients. She makes sure you have your medicine and listens to your lungs.I am glad to have her as a doctor.
Caring n listens to my concern
I am a first time patient and I felt very comfortable and Dr. Hovda was very knowledgeable and caring.
Dr Hovda is always very attentive and caring. She explains everything in a manner which can be easily understood. I never feel rushed when I have a visit.
Excellent staff and service, makes you feel like family not just a patient
We have only been to see Dr Hovda once and she seem okay. Her office staff are horrible. I have been trying to make a yearly appointment for my husband and myself for the past 2 days and the phone just rings and rings. On several occasions they have answered but than hang the phone up. I would never recommend this office because if the staff.
Had a great experience.
I am very pleased with the care I'm receiving from Dr. Hovda and highly recommend her. Additionally, the staff that I have personally been involved with are friendly and professional. One thing, though...I almost took one star away but then decided not to because I'm not sure whether this particular staff member was under Dr. Hovda or under a different doctor. So, not knowing for sure, it would not be fair to take a star away from Dr. Hovda. On 7/26/23, while I was in one of the exam rooms, I could clearly overhear the entire conversation that another staff member was having with a patient (I'm assuming a Medical Assistant based on the questions she was asking the patient, but I could be wrong). She was very rude to the patient and spoke to him in a condescending manner. She was practically yelling at him and seemed very annoyed. I could hear his medical history and all of the medications that he was taking and when she asked him if he was still taking a particular medication he said "I'm not sure, what is that?" And she said "well if you don't know what it is you must not be taking it anymore", which I thought was horrible and unprofessional. I take a lot of medicines myself and don't always remember what's what - that does not mean I'm no longer taking one that I can't remember what it's for. Especially if I'm taking a generic and they're saying the brand name or vice versa. This is information that goes into your medical record and medicines can interact with each other so for her to say he's not taking it anymore and possibly taking it off his record or listing it as a past medication could be dangerous. If that patient would have been my father or mother or any of my family members I would have been extremely angry and gone in there and told her off. Heck, I was angry and I didn't even know the patient! I did mention this to Dr. Hovda when she came in and so I'm hoping it will be addressed. One bad Apple can ruin the cart.
Dr Hovda ALWAYS takes as much time as I need, listens & addresses any issues very well, & follows up with any necessary action. I've been a patient of hers for over 6 yrs & wholeheartedly recommend her for your sleep & pulmonary problems.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
