Suwarna Tilak's Online Review Report Card

I have been going to see Tilak since i was 7 and now i am 30 and my children see her. She is amazing. Love her and the staff.

Great doctors office.

My daughter has been going here for 10 yrs...never gets sick so only have to come for yearly exams. Office isnt what it used to be or this was a bad day. Appt was for 330. Got there at 325. We were called back quickly for height weight eye exam etc.....then placed in a room.....420pm we are still in the room waiting!!! .....I came out and reminded them we have been there 50 minutes and yet to be seen. ARNP came in 15 min later...she is always nice but that wait is unacceptable. my daughter C/o knee pain for a while.....was told they would give referral for physical therapy. I asked about XR for the knee....was told try physical therapy first. No pain is ever normal so I didnt understand or feel comfortable just taking my daughter to physical therapy without a picture....If something is abnormal, therapy could make it better or worse but how would we know without a picture. I complained about my daughters fatigue. I was asked if she had blood work drawn recently. I had to remind her all lab work has been with this office (they should know, her chart is in office or her chart should be reviewed before coming into room)...I specifically asked for blood work of iron studies....received basic labs (cbc, cmp)... everything except iron studies...Dont think we will be back. Im gonna find another practitioner. Listen to the patient. Waited an hr for a 10 min room visit.

This would have been our second time to this office as we are new to the area. We were 8 minutes late for our morning appointment, due to COVID, you must call to be "checked in", when I spoke to the receptionist, she said she would have to check with the provider, Dr Tilak's NP, to see if we could still be seen due to being 8 minutes late. She gets back on the phone after another 3 minutes and said "we needed to reschedule because we will put her behind all day." Our appointment was only for a FLU SHOT! He was late to school for this appointment and wasn't offered a tardy note for school so now my son has an unexcused tardiness and still no flu shot. With our second baby on the way, we are definitely finding another provider! I've worked as a Medical Assistant in Doctor's office for years and never ever ever asked someone to reschedule for being 8 minutes late. Don't waste your time.

I have always had good experiences with Dr. Tilak, she always explains everything well and makes me feel comfortable.

Refused treatment to my 12 year old daughter who has been their patient since she was born because she doesnt have insurance anymore! They completely refused to allow me to pay out of pocket for my daughter to get treatment so I will be finding her a better pediatrician because they clearly dont care about these children at all!

UNETHICAL BILLING PRACTICES: I have had experience Doctors Inlet Pediatrics and wish I had left sooner. They guage you and your insurance company for money, recommending patients return on a monthly basis for non-narcotic/habit forming prescriptions (e.g., anti-depressants, muscle relaxers, ADHD meds) with a false claim that frequent follow-ups are necessary/routine. They are trying to get rich off of the most vulnerable! Shame on you! That is exactly why they are under investigation.

She is an awesome doctor....explained everything perfectly...
