List of Helena Han's Reviews
When I was 24 I went to Dr. Han for a routine gyno cexam and to ask her why I wasn't able to conceive. I was told "you're young, it will happen." I sexual assult history was dismissed, my sever menstrual cramps and pain were dismissed. Now I'm 35 and after years of tracking my period and self research, I have confirmed with others more thorough doctors that I have PMDD as well as a tilted uterus. Thank you for dismissing my concerns because I was young and appeared healthy. Knowing how to handle my ailments would have saved me so much sanity. I wish I would have advocated for my health more when I was younger.
Going to this office for years?! Friendly welcome. Staff knows your name. If you bad news they go through every aspect to ensue clarity and understanding. Ensure what is and they will lead your process and hold your hand. Answer all questions and help you understand.
Been with Dr. Han for five years and love visiting her office. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and appointments are always quick and easy!
Dr. Han was great for my annual visit. Her office was very clean and her staff was very welcoming. The biggest plus to me was the fact that I was seen in less than 10 minutes of arriving, exactly when my appointment was supposed to start. I'm so used to having to wait up to hours at doctors offices, so the fact that the experience was efficient and prompt will definitely ensure that I go back for my next scheduled visit.
Over ten years ago I relocated to S. Florida from a different state seeking a female gynecologist who would offer stellar health care knowledge and be attentive, kind, and personable, while also respecting my health care choices. Unfortunately, I did not receive that from Dr. Helena Han's care. As others have mentioned, her office was clean. As for Dr. Han, she was not mean, but she wasn't particularly personable either. During my time as a patient I was diagnosed with a very common, non-life threatening medical diagnosis, especially for women of color. Based on the letters I received, I had a routine condition and I was somewhat familiar with it, as other women in my family had the same condition. At that time, I was not in any major pain, I was extremely busy with a new job, and I had just relocated to the state of Florida, so I needed time to explore my medical options and decide what course of action I wanted to take, if any. Nevertheless, Dr. Han instructed her staff to call and mail me several notifications stating their diagnosis and their recommendation to have surgery. I'd done a little research and knew that surgery wasn't necessary based on what the diagnosis was., however, I wanted the space to decide for myself and if I chose to proceed with Dr. Han's recommendation I would at my own free will, as I and any patient has the right to do. After receiving several letters and feeling harassed and pressured to have surgery I called the officec to notify them that I received their letter and I'd decide accordingly for myself. Subsequently, I received another letter with a very passive-aggressive tone threatening me stating that they had made several unsuccessful attempts to contact me and that I had 10 days "to complete [my] care" and if not, then I'd be released as a patient and assumed to have obtained care elsewhere and can request a copy of my records if desired. At that point, I never contacted their practice again. I didn't need to be harassed or rushed into making a decision for how I wanted to proceed. As a physician, Dr. Han and staff should have simply called and left a VM and mailed me with their diagnosis and recommendation, then as most practices would do in this type of scenario non-forcibly request ask that the patient get in touch once ready to proceed IF THEY CHOOSE TO PROCEED with their recommendation. I've worked in healthcare, so I'm very aware that there is a tremndous amount of profit for physicians to perform surgeries and it felt as though that is what I was facing with the way I was treated by Dr. Han and staff seeking to force me to choose surgery. I have never forgotten how I was treated as a patient at this practice.
Dr. Han has been a very important Dr. in my life. I am quick to switch Dr's BUT not her. She is helpful and sees me as a full human and not just a body part she is in charge of. I am grateful to be one of her patients. Thanks Dr. Han!
Top notch
The best practice hands down!!!
This is hands-down the best experience I’ve ever had for women’s care. Clean, calm, office well run well scheduled (minimal to no wait time). Dr. Han is exceptional, honest, down to earth and efficient. Her office is filled with professional, intelligent and helpful staff. I had to get bloodwork and needed a last minute fax (twice) and every time I call, they already know who I am and within seconds, have referred to whatever I’m calling about, and different people are answering so its not just familiarity with me/voice. Time is valuable, and efficiency is not always a priority like it is here with Dr. Han. Literally will recommend this location and these professionals to all the women I know.
I recommend everyone I know to Dr. Han. Her office is great and very helpful. I never wait more then 10 minutes to be seen. Dr. Han takes her time to explain everything clearly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
