MIchael Montgomery's Online Review Report Card

I was given a phone number with direct extension to talk to a specific person yet when you call there is no way to dial an extension, you just get thrown in the queue and left on hold. After having to call multiple times there was only 1 nice representative I spoke with. And getting the office to call you back after leaving messages? Forget it. I have cancelled future services with this office and woudn't recommend. I was passed on to this office from another office inside Bone and joint. Seems they just rush you through and don't really want to help or address real issues

The nurse in his office told me he was an orthopedic surgeon specialized in sports medicine when clearly he’s not. He wanted to put me in a walking boot with a fracture. I can’t even touch my ankle, I certainly can’t walk in a boot. It looks like they use this internal med doctor to screen surgical patients. I need an orthopedic doctor, I will go to San Antonio. If I wanted to see an internal med doctor, I would have booked with one.

Dr. Montgomery did fine for my broken arm. He explained what was wrong and the treatment plan to me. Very comfortable with his mannner and prognosis. I would use him again if I have need.

I waited two hours. But, it is the care I felt was under par. He did not listen to me. He didn't mention what the x-ray showed or if it even showed soft tissue. Tomorrow I am going to call for copies and see someone else. If he was 'correct' I will come on here and apologize. But, he did not tell me anything really. It was ridiculous.

This Dr never listened to me and kept saying Frozen Shoulder and here what was wrong so I left and went to Victoria and saw Dr.Binz ordered another MRI and X-Ray and saw an impingement and on the day of the Surgery found piece of Bone, Slight tear in rotator cuff and had to release Bicep Muscle. This Dr Listened to me and didn't blow me off saying Frozen Shoulder and took care of it after Surgery and explained the pics of shoulder to Me. Dr Montgomery said it was in my HEAD. Tell that to my right shoulder that is in pain after my SURGERY

My knee was extremely swollen and I was in horrible pain and he recommended injections but they said it would take up to 3 weeks for insurance to approve them. He did not want to order anything for pain but finally said he would order nsaids and it never got called in . He said he doesn’t believe in pain medicine and I would have to have my PCP order something for pain , isn’t that why my PCP sent me to see him. A lot of money for nothing. Still laying here in extreme pain !
