Dr. Kronhaus is extremely knowledgeable and caring. He spent time getting to know my spouse, listening to current concerns, and providing a diagnosis. After spending numerous months driving all over Central Florida looking for a good cardiologist, we are truly thankful to have found a great one!

DR Kenneth D Kronhaus a Cardiologist in Mt Dora Lake county. This physician is like no other physician that I have ever encountered. He is among the best Physicians in the USA. I am a nurse who have worked with countless physicians of many specialties and I have never met such a caring and concerned physician. DR Kronhaus posses’s the characteristics of a perfect physician. He conducts a thorough physical examination and compares it with diagnostics. He takes time to thoroughly explain it to the patient with treatment plan. If there is sign that the patient does not comprehend he will repeat the information until it is understood. The majority of physicians do not do this. I have a congenital abnormality and Dr Kronhaus researched the latest evidence concerning care and treatment and clearly guided me to the best option for surgical procedure. I have had the procedure with great success. The Enhanced External Counter pulsation procedure EECP he recommended (done in his office) and the gentle way in which he encouraged me to loose more than 25 pounds certainly helped with the success of this surgical procedure. Dr Kronhaus shows he cares for his patients with every encounter. May God continue to bless him to continue his work of optimizing care for patients with conventional and alternative medicine. Very thorough to the point of exhaustion!

Exceptional experience with Dr. Kronhaus

This the Cardiologist you should have> He spends a long time with each patient. He thinks "outside the box" and gives professional advice outside of his profession. I had missing heart beats and the other 3 cardiologists said my heart was fine. He agreed, but told me to get a sleep test. I found out that I had a sleep disorder causing my heart issues. If I had not gone to him I probably would have had a heart attack due to my heart working overtime.

Dr K is one of the VERY BEST Physicians that I have ever had! I recommend him to anyone who wants a top rated Cardiologist.

Waited 2 hours and never saw the doctor. I allowed 2 hours for my appt. and after being called back, the nurse did an EKG and then I sat and waited and waited and Dr. Kronhaus never showed up. Finally I got up and told the receptionist I allowed two hours but now have another appt. to go to. You now what she says: Didn't they tell you "he works on his own time frame". To this I said, "if I did that I would not be in business and as a real estate agent my clients would go somewhere else". How un professional. I don't treat my clients this way and I won't tolerate being treated like that. I made an appt. with another physician in Tavares. But who does this Dr think he is. It is time the patients stand up to this and walk out as there are plenty of other cardiologists in this area.

You should expect to sit in the waiting room for well over an hour for every visit.... His scheduling is poor....

Plan on spending half your day, if not more, at his office for a basic appointment. He does spend a lot of time with patients so he is always behind schedule. My last visit I called 30 minutes before appt time to ask how far behind he was. They said call back in 30 min (my original appt time). On call back they said come on in, and I arrived 30 min after original appt time. Waited 45 min before I saw the nurse, & 15 min after that I was left to wait for the dr. 67 minutes later he arrived. The exam lasted 95 min most of which was spent watching the dr enter data and dictate to his laptop while he says "bear with me for one minute". He asks if you have questions but usually interrupts before you get the question finished. I only ask questions because I want the info, but several times he acted like I was questioning his judgement. At one point, after trying to clarify a question I asked earlier (which he never let me finish asking) he got aggravated and spoke to me like I was a 10 year old., saying he already answered it. I finally went home 4 HOURS after arrival at 8pm and he was still seeing a patient after me. And some of his office staff is borderline useless.
