Teleconference today with Dr. Newberg was very professional, thorough, and personable. This was my initial appointment with Dr. Newberg, and due to the pandemic it was done virtually. He has my records from my previous primary care doctor and seemed to have reviewed them thoroughly. After clarifying and summarizing, a good plan was made to move forward.

I had been a patient for Dr. Newberg for a few years. He seemed to be a acceptable doctor when you are NOT sick and just going in for checkups. Once you get sick or are in need to see him, he rarely makes an effort to see you. Actually twice over the past couple years 2 different family members have gotten sick and needed to see Dr. Newberg. His staff said they spoke with him and he was "unavailable" and he said "tell them to go to the ER" without even taking 1 minute to speak to us. In both cases, luckily it was NOT necessary to go to the ER. I guess it's easiest to pawn your health care off to the local hospital / ER when you don't want to work. I understand someone can be busy but if you truly think one of your "valued" patients need to go the hospital, perhaps it might be worth 2 minutes of your busy day to confirm what's happening.

Todd no longer sees patients when they come in for a physical. He delegates to a nurse practitioner. Not sure why a patient would come in for a physical. He's not doping his job.

Very unprofessional! My husband has been a patient for years (until today) and had an appointment scheduled for 11:30 and the doctor refused to see him because he was going to be 5 minutes late. (after driving an hour to see him) The doctor could have just taken 5 less minutes with him in the exam room! The doctor was clearly in a rush as he leaves at noon on Friday's. He is well aware that my husband drives an hour to see him and he could have cared less! Wasted my husbands time!
