After being passed around to 8 different doctors in horrific pain--my final referral was to Dr. Berckes. He and his office staff were very professional, timely and efficient. He thoroughly discussed my condition and options for treatment verbally, using medical models and literature. For the first time in one year, I received relief. I was not prescribed addictive drugs.

I have been seeing Dr. Berckes off and on for almost ten years to treat my back spams. With a combination of injections and lifestyle changes, my spams are managed really well. Great experience overall. Office staff is excellent with both insurance and patient care. ARNP Cynthia is very knowledgeable and caring. Dr Berckes was both caring and understanding took his time explaining what was going on in my spine and how epidural could help. And it has.

Dr. Berckes is the best pain management physician by whom I ever been treated. I am a 73 year old with severe lower back issues and he has relieved my pain. I went there for pain management for which I am disabled. The doctor told me to diet and exercise and daydream when I have pain. I could have read that on the internet. Don't waste your money on this doctor, the internet gives better advice.

This is a spinal injection factory. Doesn't care that you're coming there because you need pain management other than injections. Very bad bedside manner. I will not be going back.

Don't even get to see the doctor anymore, he sends in a Nurse Practitioner for pain management. Then they drug test you, telling you the cost is $25 if your insurance doesn't pay, then you receive a bill from the lab for $341 and they refuse to help. Not a good experience.

He's too busy to visit patients that don't do spinals so he sends his Nurse Practitioner in, but submits to insurance that he personally saw you for a full office visit charge. Nurse acts like she knows everything and talks down to you. They have mandatory drug testing and tell you if insurance doesn't cover it then you only pay $25, but then you get a bill from the lab for $341! Now I know why the revolving door and poor attitude of staff in this office.
