Eaton Yen's Online Review Report Card

My 73 year old mother went to Dr Yen for back pain. She is on a walker and has been on pain meds for over 20 years. She had just recently been released from hospice care. She was wearing a pain patch and was looking for a refill. After an exam, Mom asked for a refill on the patch and Dr Yen told her "you are off it now". Now meaning today, not gradually. When she asked what else he would provide for pain, Yen relied "you can exercise and lose weight". My Mom is about 20 lbs over weight. This man should not be anywhere near patients. He is rude, insulting, is dangerous and incompetent. Doctors like him are why normal people in pain seek medicine on the street. Do not go to Dr Yen, he should change specialties and not interact with patients directly. Btw, I think some of the 5 star reviews are fake.

My mom came out of this place in tears, and that is not normal for her. She was a nursing professor for over 35 years, and is now retired with many ailments. She just got off hospice care from a botched procedure gone wrong. This dr is condescending, rude and has no professional standards. He did not even look at her files that were sent. I would not recommend this dr to anyone.

This Dr will give you the complete run around. Send you for PT you don’t need, send you to a psychiatrist, try to make you take Yoga and even try to push injections. Complete unprofessional and sad he calls himself a DR. Don’t waste your time or money.

I brought my 83 year old Dad to see Dr. Yen when he started having back pain. Dr. Yen is very thorough, he takes his time and listens. He also explains everything in detail and what he could do as far as treatment options. I feel he is very honest with telling you how he can try and help manage the pain and is not unrealistic.

Dr Yen is a Terrible Dr his Nurses are Very unfriendly. He told me after getting disability for Degenerate Bone Disease. That my MRI was Perfect and I was healed. Had an Allergic reaction to cream he gave me. Didn't believe me. Sent me for PT. Well my PCP Dr saw this referral and called me Immediately. Dr Yen is a Quack Dr. I could have got really hurt @ PT. See an Ortho Dr. And need to have 4 disc removed from my Neck He's a Lyer and should be Disbarred . I'm glad I listened to my body and knew he was wrong. Stay far away from his office and his Nasty Staff.

Dr. Yen was caring and thorough with my check up. Would definitely recommend to others, I don’t know why people are being so negative towards this sweet man. He’s dedicated and cares for his patients. The staff was also very friendly and efficient and made great conversation with me.

This so called pain management doctor is a Liar and a joke. I came to him for help and all that he did was falsely diagnosed me because he had no idea what was wrong with me. What I had was TIA. Instead he was focused on thinking that I was looking for Dilaudid and I just wanted help. You are no better than dennison and in some way You are worse! I will never Trust you for you are a Liar!

DR Eaton Yen, is the rudest and most unprofessional Dr. I brought my 86 yrs old mother who is total crippled in a wheel chair and he said things as horrible as , "you're only here because her primary Dr probably lost his pain med license. I am not a pill mill.Btw my mom is only on 1 pain med and she has been on it for 25 yrs. He then proceeded to tell me he has heart problems and will not make any promises he could be dead tomorrow. Then told me he needed all her paperwork. I said I sent it over 2 weeks ago.He never took time to review it. He is condescending and has no compassion. Find some else as he didn't care about my elderly mom. Alot more to story. Running out of space.
