Unfortunately, this doctor should receive 0 stars but that's not possible. I came in complaining of lower left quadrant abdominal pain. I explained to him that I thought it may be an ovarian cyst. Doctor Bovelsky ignored my concerns. I asked for an ultrasound and he said it was not necessary. He didn't even bother to check my urine. Stunned by this experience I left still concerned by the pain because it hurt so badly I couldn't do much. It appeared to me that he did not think it was an ovarian cyst. So I checked myself in at Melbourne Regional ER because I had no clue what it was and the pain was severe and Dr. Bovelsky gave me no answers to why this was occurring. ER doctor/healthcare team was baffled by DR. Bovelsky's poor clinical judgment and lack of concern. I received a CT scan at the ER and sure enough, I had a 7 cm ovarian cyst. I quickly found a new gyno after this experience. Dr. Bovelsky could have saved me time and money by just ordering an ultrasound. Hopefully, Dr. Bovelsky will learn from this review and take women's concerns more seriously. Any female complaining of abdominal pain rated at an 8 should not be ignored. Speaking to women reading this review if you have anything more complicated than prescribing birth control I recommend seeing another provider.

Great Doctor, but having a difficult time trying to get the staff to return my calls about my test results and medication information I need to know before I start it , I’ve called 3 time’s now still haven’t gotten a response back from anyone on this matter, will call a 4 th time today again !

I never thought I would have a male gyno, let alone LOVE one! He is very friendly, explains things thoroughly, and has a great upbeat demeanor that puts me at ease during uncomfy procedures. Very glad to have found him!
