Dr. B helped me with a minor procedure. She was knowledgeable and helpful. She understood the stress my daughter and I were feeling and was very kind. She took the time to explain everything that would happen before and after surgery. Today, it’s rare that a doctor takes the time to do those things without looking at their watch to get to the next patient. Thank you for everything you do.

I had a double inguinal hernia repair. Dr. B did the operation quickly and I had no complications directly related to the surgery thereafter. The pain was relatively mild, which were contrary my somewhat fearful expectations. Everyone in pre-op was nice as was her staff. The one thing that was a bother was that Dr. B didn't seem like she had the patience for questions, especially common ones that apparently are often asked about the same surgeries. Dr. B knew what she'd be asked about, so she proactively would tell you the answers to what you probably were going to ask, since she hears them so often. The problem I had with that is everyone's experience is unique to them, individually, and even if the questions are the same from different people, they should be treated as differentiated along with a person's individual concerns. That is because it would help lessen the obvious insecurities which any person having any surgery would have. Good Surgeon; Bedside manner B-.

Negative. A robotic hiatal hernia repair resulted in the loss of most of my stomach. I now have a feeding tube and cannot eat food. I ended up at Advent Hospital in Orlando for 2 months and spent over 2 weeks in the ICU. She never communicated with my family. I am now very frail.

She did a bilateral hernia surgery on my father who can be VERY difficult. She was wonderful. His recovery was very easy and she was very patient with him.

I lost most of my stomach during a robotic hernia repair. Several other complications ensued including sepsis. She transferred me to another hospital where I underwent 12 hours of surgery followed by a 2 month hospitalization. I am now kept alive with j tube feedings.

Dr.Bairossi performed my hernia surgery in Advent Health Ocala 2weeks ago. The staff there was A number one and so was she I am sure she will be missed at The Villages.

After being rushed to The Villages hospital , it turns out that I needed a hernia operation. I got to meet Dr. Bairossi as they were prepping me for surgery. I was terrified, but she has a wonderful calm about herself and told me what to expect. I had to stay in the hospital for 2 nights, and she came to see me both times and explained everything she did. A week after my surgery I met with her again, and this time got to meet some of her staff who were just as kind as Dr. Bairossi was. I can only hope that I never have to have surgery , but if I did - she is the lady who I would go to FOR SURE!!
