Ahmet Gursoy's Online Review Report Card

DR. Gursoy has been treating me for atrial fibrillation on and off for twelve years now. I find him to be a no nonsense, extremely sharp and knowledgeable physician in a very complex medical specialty. He can sometimes be abrupt, which I attribute to his urgency to accurately diagnose and treat a large number of patients. I would most heartily recommend DR. Gursoy for anyone needing electrophysiology care.

He replace my wife pacemaker to a defibrillator , he damage her Artery, he didn't say anything to us, she hospitalize for a month, she develop edema on her left arm and left breast, her life was measurable, for 15 month he was lie and rude. finally we find a decent Doctor, he repaired the Artery which was damage by Dr. Gursoy. he is very rude, ignorant and have been lie to us for 15 month, We are not going to trust him at all.

I got referred to Dr.Gursoy from my family doctor . From the first time I met him in his office I was impressed about his professionally and direct way to explain ,answer all question to the point. I got a pacemaker during the surgery we talked what made it easier for me. Days after the surgery twice I went with concerns to the office with no appointments and was always heard and treated ,the office stuff was awesome understanding and caring. At the regular checkup Dr.Gursoy was caring and explained patiently questions I had. I only can say good things about him and his office where btw.I never had to wait more the a few minutes.

I'm one of these people not going to a doctor and sucking it up This time there was nothing to suck up the verdict was, I need a pacemaker,bravo! I met Dr.Gursoy in his office and he explained me everything ,the WHY and what can/will happen if I not do it,so the surgery was set. On the day of the surgery everything went very smooth and professional ,I opted for a local anesthesia and could go home 2 hours after the surgery. A few follow ups were all good. A big ,big shout out to the Office staff who went out of the way to help and take care when I had a concern and showed up without any appointment ,Congratulation to your staff acardas

Have had Dr. Gursoy taking good care of me for the last 4-5 years. He is smart and perceptive…. When you give him your information, he treats you with respect and sometime quickly…he has good skills and he has always given the best care I could have received. Retired ORRN …!

The most rude, disrespectful and dishonest Physician that I have ever known.

Absolutely no bedside manners. Rude and condescending. Got loud and scolded my 86 year old mother because a different doctor took her off the blood thinners he had prescribed. She was taken off blood thinners due to a suspected upper GI bleed. Gursoy walked out on us after he had her wait 1:20 in the examination room, AFTER his nurse did the preliminary checks. He just stormed out of the room. I've never seen anything like it. He told us to find another doctor and didn't give us instructions as to what her next steps should be. His office takes 2 days to return a call. He was dressed in bad street clothes and unshaven, totally unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my dogs, much less a sick elderly person. Thank God we were able to find another cardiologist that will see her in a couple of days to advise us as what to do.

Bad experience

He is listed in Dysautonomia International as one of the few specialists in the country. He diagnosed me with Postural tachycardia syndrome and told me salt, water, support hose and heart meds would fix me. I went back due to passing out. A new issue among other issues. I am now being worked up for Multiple System atrophy a rare dysautonomia. His office manager which is his girlfriend , wife gave me the number of a Chiropractor in the Pan Handle. The doctor in that office on disability for Dysautonomia. He said Multiple System atrophy is not a disability. He talks negatively about the specialists listed in DI. He is pretty backward. He’s only in this for money. He’s a monster.

Rudest treatment ever by a physician in my life. Felt violated by his lack of interest in my issues and used inappropriate language. Lied on documentation and misdiagnosed me. Uncaring and unprofessional. Better choices in this county for sure.
