I got in just in the nick of time ......and I am so glad I did. She is very stricked and runs a tight ship with patients and with her office...Her staff is very good as far as I am concerned......I have been in healthcare for 30 yrs and to find one Dr. like her most likely non- exsistante ..
I'v been a patient of Dr. G for about five years. The first time I went to see her I was on crutches and in a lot of pain. I tossed out the crutches after one month of her treatment and prescriptions and the pain factor was greatly lowered. Her"bedside manner", leaves a lot to be desired, she can be very terse and abrupt but she knows what she is doing. Her PA is a sweet, knowledgeable woman and her receptionist is not 'miss personality' but is also efficient. She stopped seeing new patients quite some time ago so that tells you something. I don't go to a doctor for their personality, I go to be treated.
Dr Granath saved my life. Before I saw her I was overtreated by another rheumatologist who gave me drug which supressed my bone marrow. I had infections back to back and required treatments to increase my counts. She stopped the unnecessary treatment put me on Plaquenil and not only my RA is finally under control, I don't need additional treatments to maintain my counts from hematologist. Thank you Dr Granath, you are my angel!
misdiagnosed rheumatoid arthritis and pushed injections on my husband and tried to get him into a credit card program out of california before we had a chance at a second opinion. VA second opinion, with all of the tests she did not have done, said he only had old age symptoms and did not need any of those expensive/possible harmful medications.
I’ve seen Dr. Granath for 2 years. At first I liked her thourough testing and bedside manner. She does not recommend the AIProtcol diet, but it helps. At each visit we fill out a survey of pain and related symptoms, but during the brief visit the doctor never reviews it. I told her, and subsequently was dismissed from her practice. I like her medical assistant’s pleasant and positive temperament. Her receptionist is the exact opposite, with terse responses.
After reading these reviews & seeing Dr Granath a few times, it is clear she is very selective about which patients she chooses to treat respectfully & her staff follows her que. She is known for discharging patients in the middle of treatment for no good reason. Her receptionist or secretary or whatever she is supposed to be is the rudest I’d ever met. They are both cold & show not a bit compassion or empathy to the people who go there for help with a serious chronic disease.
She is the only doctor I trust. Very caring and knowledgeable. Unfortunately no longer taking new patients. I am so glad I got in in time!
Caring and knowledgeable. Lowered my pain from a 10 to a 1. Her new receptionist Mary Ellen returns calls and her nurse Melania is very able and loving.
competent and personable
Doctor Granath is very knowledgable and thorough in her examinations. She spends the necessary time with her patients and listens to their concerns. She responds to questions and emails in a timely manner and is very interested in the welfare of her patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
