List of Andrew Jaffe Md's Reviews
Horrible experience. Office is run like a cattle round up with so many patients in the waiting room you know you will be treated like a piece of meat . Go anywhere else if you can. Saw doctor for 5 minutes with no explanation of treatment or follow up.
Dr. Jaffe removed a large basal cell cancer from my face in 2005. I moved to Ohio shortly after, and have had many other basal cell cancers removed (4 on my face) over the years. No other dermatologist has ever closed the wound with as good of a result as Dr. Jaffe did. That's why I remember him - he was the best.
Hands down, the best skin cancer physician in S.W. Florida period. Unfortunately I have the skin type that makes me a magnet for skin cancers, from routine to serious, some requiring reconstructive facial surgery. Fortunately I had Dr. Jaffe directing my treatments and Dr.W. Eshbaugh as my associate surgeon. After 18 years I relocated from Florida, but still return to Riverchase Dermatology for exams & follow up.
Jaffe has gotten too big. During mose days (tues & thurs) its like a circus. You will get lost
I really never saw his face. Zipped in to tell what he was going to do and would have left the entire procedure up to his assistant if I hadn't insisted that the doctor do it. The work was ultimately successful thought there were complications.
I only saw him a brief moment while he was cutting. He was polite and business like. I was in the office the entire day. 9:15 until 4:30 Little medical conversation. He was busy so he spent no time with me. Did not see him again. I needed help on the 4th. day so I called in. No one would speak to me or call me back. I did not return. I would not say that this was Dr. Jaffe's fault. , I called the office I was suppose to go to for a follow up but got no response.
Excellent doctor. Treated by skin cancer with Mohs surgical procedure. Very effective, minimal procedure. Dr Eshbaugh did the skin graft. Great results!
I recently had a Mohs procedure to remove skin cancer from my nose. Dr Jaffe, Dr Eshbaugh and their staff were excellent. I could not be any happier that I chose Riverchase Dermatology.
I felt like I was in an assembly line. People just kept coming in and out with bandages. I was placed in a room, nothing was really explained to me, he cut then was gone. When it was finally time to have stitches put in some body else came in and did it. I was told it would be a plastic surgeon but it was a PA.
I really liked Dr. Jaffe. He has a very pleasant bedside manner. He removed cancer from my nose and did a very skilled job. 5 months later it is barely noticeable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
