My meeting with Dr. DLR went well but I switched to a different Cardio Practice because of his office staff. Dr. DLR asked me to wear a heart monitor and at 8am the very next morning I received a call from his office saying that during the evening there were some very low readings and when she shows the doctor he will probably want me to go to the hospital immediately. For the next eight hours I heard nothing from the doctors office and, so, I went to the office where I was told that, “they had a very busy day and could not get back to me.” When I asked for the second day’s heart monitor readings a day or two later they refused to give them to me until the doctor reviewed them. I was told that the doctor called me that morning but there were no recent calls from his office. At that point, I made an appointment with a different practice where the doctor and his office staff have been fantastic.

My mother recently had a stroke. She is legally blind and was very nervous about her appointment. Dr. De la Rosa was so nice, very personable and made her feel at ease. My mother’s speech was affected by her stroke so she speaks slowly and has to think about her words, so it takes a few minutes for her to respond. He waited patiently for her response to his questions and explained every single thing on a level that she understood and reassured her everything would be ok. The staff was very welcoming when we checked in and out. Just a wonderful experience all around.

Dr. De La Rosa was very kind and caring. He did not rush me at all. He was very patient and went over everything with me. He answered all my questions. I definitely would recommend him. The nurse and office people were also very nice.

Dr. De La Rosa is a very caring, deliberate, professional physician. He spends a lot of time with me and I am grateful for that. It is very apparent he wants to keep me well as he is well knowledgeable about my past history even though I am a new patient and he uses that info to help with his recommendations for treatment. I admire and thank him for his dedication and care when I see him. I would like to add that his attitude is reflected in his nurse Brea. She is super too!
