List of Benjamin Ditty's Reviews
At first I was very impressed with Dr. Ditty. He was kind, caring and professional explaining my back problems. The follow up appt he kept me waiting 40 minutes, rushed in, was preoccupied and was totally disinterested in my issues. He told me the direct opposite of what he had diagnosed 2 weeks prior. I was hurried out and decided to find a different neurosurgeon.
Dr Ditty is a genius. He performed very extensive lower back surgery which relieved the pain I had suffered for several months. His post-op care is very comprehensive too. He arrange after care at a hospital specializing in physical and occupational rehabilitation. When I returned home, he arranged 4 weeks of visiting nurse and physical therapy to support my recuperation. I recommend him to anyone who needs his very specialized neurosurgery to correct spinal deformities.
Solved my Spinal stenosis issues. Could hardy walk. Had surgery. A Miracle.
My husband saw Dr Ditty and had a dicsectomy in October 2022. His pain was immediately relieved. It took him a few weeks to get over the surgery, but he did and is very glad he had it done. Dr Ditty and his PA were both kind, patients, explained things well, our visits with him were not rushed and they were very knowledgable and kind.
I was nervous about my upcoming appointment with Dr. Ditty which quickly was put to rest when after looking at my MRI he turned to my husband and I and said "but you are fixable"!! I had quite an extensive surgery of over 8 hrs. on 10/25/2022 and YES he fixed me. I am so grateful for all he has done for me. I don't know what could have been had I not been referred to Dr. Ditty. He is not only a GREAT surgeon but is so personable and down to earth. He loves what he does and it shows in every way. His staff are the best---so helpful and never act as though you are bothering them. They helped me through several things. My family and I will always be so grateful to all of you. God bless you! And Merry Christmas!
Office waiting area was over crowded. Receptionists were snarky. Exam room was like a freezer. Person checking vitals was unpleasant and seemed unskilled. PA seemed competent. Dr Ditty came into the room chomping on gum. His recommendation for surgery seemed too aggressive considering my age and comorbidities. He seemed rather flip and disinterested, especially in light of what he said was needed. He has my moved around a lot, which made me less confident about his abilities and personality as a practitioner. .
I went to see him, unsure anything could be done for my pain. He was kind and compassionate, explaining how he would fix my back. I was practically eating percocets, and now, 6 months post op, I am riding my bike again, and am virtually pain free! He gave me my life back, and I am very grateful.
He’s the best!
Dr. Benjamin Ditty and his staff at NASA are outstanding, they make you feel very comfortable, they listen to your concerns. They are very knowledgeable and after meeting with me, reviewing my MRI and CT SCAN clearly explained what needed to be done. He showed me my problem areas, explained the surgical procedure they would perform and the recovery process. I Had my surgery September 8th 2022. It lasted almost 7 hours. It’s now mid October and I’m walking 3+ miles a day and feel excellent. Not having any issues I had prior to my surgery. leg and back pain, bone rubbing on bone, burning pains in my thighs, constant numbness in my feet, legs, my entire lower body. If I coughed, cleared my throat or blew my nose I would feel pain in my back and legs. Not anymore thank you Dr. Ditty & staff My procedure: PTP and Bilateral Laminotomy with Medial Facetectomy, L2-3 and L3-4; Translumbar and posterior column osteotomy, L4-5 and L5-S1; posterior segmental instrumented fusion, L2-S1; insertion of Pelvic Fixation

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
