Dr. McGovern is the first psychiatrist I've met (and I've had several over my lifetime) that genuinely listened. He asked questions in a way that came across as caring instead of the typical scripted-let me check the boxes to get to the script writing part. I didn't feel rushed during our consultation. He clearly explained things to me in ways no other psychiatrist has in the past and the ONE medication vs THREE I was taking has created peace in my mind for the first time in my life. Dr. Mcgovern was nothing but professional during our face to face online visits. He has a good understanding of medications and explained why some were better in my case than others. I would recommend Dr. Mcgovern to anyone in need that is trying to find their way out of the dark!!

He has helped me through out my hospitalization. When I was in kidney failure he was instrumental and helping me calm down. Then I shattered my arm there also he was instrumental in my recovery I can’t say enough about him he is a wonderful doctor.
