Dr. Sommerfeld and his team have great bedside manner and always take the time to listen to your questions and concerns. Dr. Sommerfeld is very thorough with his exams and makes me feel like he is genuinely concerned with my well-being. I have no reservations on recommending him as a primary care physician.

Terrible doctor with average skills. Does more referrals than exam. Went to him for 5 years and keep same meds I had in Pittsburgh. He changed my medication and all I got out of it was a yeast infection and blood sugar levels 250-325. Wouldn't let him treat my dog.

Worst doctor ever! Not collaborative at all!! Sends you to other doctors and passes you off. He has an “I don’t care attitude”. Don’t waste your time with him!

Terrible patient doctor interaction. Made a mistake on a diagnosis by switching medications. Did not wait for all tests to be completed. Diagnosis by cardiologist and endocrinologist were correct. All Dr. Sommerfeld manage to is send my blood glucose level to a critical stage. He refused to go back to original medication that worked for 8 years. Became obstinate and irritated when I pushed the issue. Turned out I was right. He made a diagnosis that was completely out bounds. Would never recommend him to anybody.

Very pleasant and knowledgeable physician. Straight to the point. Answers all questions, orders tests that are specific to your symptoms so he can determine your health diagnosis.

Went and saw Dr. Summerfield because my primary doctor Dr. crabb Is leaving the practice. Dr. Summerfield was very arrogant, did not introduce him self apparently if you’re there to see him you know who he is. He is a physician who is more concerned with preventative care Then the main issue. This would be a great doctor for a hypochondriac. You will be going through all kinds of great testing that you really didn’t need. But just in case! No thanks! I will do a little more research and find a more personable physician.
