List of Elite Dna Therapy Services Naples's Reviews
Kali Dore is a truly amazing mental health counselor. I been using her services for few months now. Her patience , her undivided attention , her intelligence and amazing gift of giving suggestions and solutions it's unmatched. I am truly grateful for her help navigating my relationships with myself and those around me. Thank you Kali , always a pleasure being in a session with you !
Excellent care. Great therapists, excellent office staff. If you have a concern of any kind (not just in therapy!), it's listened to and addressed. I have been in maintenance therapy for many years elsewhere and was very concerned when I moved to FL. I feel as if I have made immense progress working with the staff here and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH DO NOT GO HERE!!! Anita Dixon is all nice while she pushes medicine on you that that she knows will eventually be unavailable once your insurance catches on. Doesn't even offer to replace it with another medicine after you explicitly tell her how hard it is to 'USE THE COUPON' at every appointment. Then when your insurance finally cuts you off and you can't get medication that you are hooked on DNA will then ignore you for a week while you are trying to get your brain back to normal. The office staff are even worse. NO EMPATHY FOR THEIR PATIENTS. NONE. When you try to stand up for yourself firmly & professionally you get attitude back and are told that you are nasty. Don't say that I didn't warn you!!!
Kali Dore is by far the best therapist I have ever had. She takes notes. She starts every session prepared. She cares and she has a passion for what she does. I couldn't be more thankful to have her as a therapist.
Love Kali Dore. I can tell she takes notes and prepares for our sessions. She also asks great questions. I look forward to and get a lot from our sessions. I'm grateful to have her as my therapist.
Kali Dore is just the best! She's outstanding and has helped me through a lot! Thank you!
For Mental health, needs, this is very welcoming, yet professional, with dedicated staff, willing to exceed expectations, regarding your mental health of family members.
Isn't the point of a "behavioral health center" to help patients mental health improve? Not be the cause of more mental anguish? I have been a patient since 2016, and I was seeing Dr. Targoff who left the Naples office to go to the Ft Myers office fully.. I was left in the care of his assistant, not another psychiatrist.. I never saw another psychiatrist since. Edward was nice but, I didn't feel he listened to me and got me enough and I really wanted to be seeing an actual doctor.. not just the PA. I mean, my insurance is paying for this I should be able to see a real psychiatrist. So, I asked about it and the as told to fill out a change of provider form. I did that and was put with Melanie.. whom for the whole time I was with, kept wanting me to try medication after medication that caused me so many side effects that I said enough.. and still she kept pushing and making me feel bad when I didn't want to take them, to the point I took the final one and my hair fell out and I had another severe side effect that I'm still dealing with!! I was angry, and tired of her not listening and I wanted someone to listen to me. So I asked for a change of provider.. and I also found out Melanie wasn't even a psychiatrist, she was a PA just like Edward, with a different degree. So I was lied to the whole time I was in her care to boot! I was given the change of provider, and was paired with Susan. I met with Susan and she told me she wasn't a psychiatrist. I said "I wanted a psychiatrist" and she said "they don't make appointments with the psychiatrists anymore" wtf? I said "fine I will deal for now but, don't push medicines on me". She said she wouldn't and we started talking.. she then asked me "what do you worry about in life?" I said "my cat is very special to me and she's getting older I worry about her passing away" and Susan looked at me with a dead expression and said coldly "and? Everything dies. Get a kitten when she's gone" Because you know.. my cat that's very special to me, is replaceable, right?!?! And that was the most EMPATHETIC thing ever, to say to a patient, who is depressed, correct? Needless to say.. she made me cry.. and her words still haunt me. I shouldn't have taken a second appointment with her, but.. I had to get medication taken care of.. but, Susan lied to me. First she told me that a medication I was taking that I asked her to switch me off of, because it was affecting my blood sugar, wasn't. Now... I didn't know that doctors and nurses now right to a patients face call them a liar?! I have proof that the medicine was affecting my blood sugar, plus.. you can look the medicine up and it will show you it can affect blood sugar.. or ask a pharmacist, and they will tell you, or.. you know, be smarter than a PA at Elite DNA named Susan. (Sorry, but she wasn't empathetic to me so..). I called Elite DNA and tried talking to someone about what happened and talked to Patrick.. and he was very rude each time I talked to him.. but the first time he said "fill out a change of provider form and we'll get you changed to someone else". I did.. and my psychologist told me, not the office manager, that it was denied.. when I went in to find out why it was denied. Patrick went home already, and would call me the next week. He called me on Monday rude as per usual.. and said "you've seen too many providers" so, being thrown to Edward with NO choice.. and having to ask to switch cost me a change? And then switching from Melanie who wasn't even a dang psychiatrist... cost me another.. and then they put me with the rudest PA ever! Susan and Patrick need to either be trained in customer service and empathy.. and while they're training, have a no paid vacation for a few weeks while they learn something, or just be let go. Because they're toxic! And does ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE answer the phone at those offices? Like, ever? Your best bet... look somewhere else for mental healthcare!
I've been visiting Mary Anita for 7 years now and she is the sweetest, kindest and most understanding woman! She is always willing to give you advice and knows how to make you smile. Also, she has this comforting southern drawl that makes her feel like the southern aunt I never had. Thank you so much to everyone at DNA, I don't know where i'd be without all of you!
I had called and said that I had lost a prescription while traveling, and male operator said I need to make an appointment. I replied, "I am on psych meds, and need them urgently". His response, again, "well you need to make an appointment, how Oct. 31, @ 3:05. WHAT?? I need my meds urgently, and you are telling me you cannot help me?? I thought true medical and psych. was supposed to be there for the patient first. I have contacted Legal Services of Collier County, and am waiting for a return phone call.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
