There are a million wonderful things I could say about this doctor. To be short, he saved my life when I was 5 years old. Another doctor told my parents that I had pneumonia and would be fine to ride it out, but thankfully he was coined “Panic Stefanec” for a reason, and sent my parents to the hospital where they saved my life. He, of course, checked on me while I was there. I was born with an autoimmune disorder, so I’ve been a sickly kid my whole life. Dr. Stefanec never left anything up to chance. He’d run every possible test to try to determine what was wrong. He was the most incredible doctor I’ve had to this day. I loved being home sick because his office was so colorful, with Disney maps and references everywhere, while he sported his Goofy and Donald Duck ties. He was the kindest soul, and I was truly shattered when he moved away. He never felt like a doctor, he felt like a friend. I can’t begin to thank him for all he’s done for me. I owe him everything.
