I think he’s great! Very personable. Very caring
Spent alot of time with me. Very direct, which I like. Very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend him.
my appointment was for 1;00 your office called and want to change it to 10;40 i said ok i showed up at 10;42 your staff said i was to late for my appointment then they said my appointment was change to 10;20 nobody told me this is how you run a office you need to talk to your people and tell them quite lying cause i drove all the way from fort myers and yes i was 2 min. late but i should not of lost my appointment and your people make you look bad
I was hospitalized with a pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and had a lot of excellent doctors including Dr. David Lindner, NCH's lead critical care Covid physician, and my surgeon, Dr. Brian Solomon. The care and concern shown by the latter two, I have to say was the best care I have ever gotten. Although everything causing my illness was all of my own doing, by smoking, I have COPD and emphysema. I would not waste the space nor time with this "Doctor". I have given the single star because I didn't deal with them and these were required fields to be filled out.
Office and Physician unbelievable..made an appointment two months out. Difficulty breathing and diagnosed with bronchitis in the Emergency Room. Office called 2 business days before appointment to report Dr Sporn no longer taking patients. After waiting 2 months they call 2 days before ! The RedTide really causing problems. Coughing and unable to leave air conditioning. Unable to talk sense to office girl cancelling appointment. Unwilling to work with me to arrange another appointment. But all for the best..knowing up front how hard it would be to communicate with this office. Very poor office staff which is a direct reflection of the Physician. Also Dr Sporn’s office made the appointment. Sporn should have taken responsibility and seen the patient. Made another appointment with different office and as it is Season..6 weeks of waiting again. Thank you Dr Sporn.
I WENT TO GARY AFTER SEEING A REAL PULMONOLOGIST THAT TOLD ME NEVER LET ANYONE EVER CUT YOU AGAIN. YOUR EXRAYS LOOK LIKE CANCER BUT REALLY IS NON- TUBERCULOSIS-MICRO BACTERIA TUBERCULOSIS. BUT GARY INSISTED I HAVE A PIECE OF MY LUNG REMOVED, WHEN I SAID NO, HE TOLD ME AND I QUOTE,{ I'M THE DR. AND U DO ? I SAY} SENT ME TO A SURGEON WHO CLAIMED MY LUNGS WERE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO CUT, BUT 3 DAYS LATTER CALLED AND SAID HE COULD CUT ME, I SAID NO. AFTER BADGERING ME FOR WEEKS I AGREED TO A NEEDLE BIOPSY, BIG MISTAKE, THEY PUNCTURED THE LUNG AND AN ARTERY. I WOKE COVERED WITH BLOOD 2 HOURS LATTER, SENT HOME TO TAKE 2 TYLENOL. AFTER 1 HOUR MY LUNG COLLAPSED AND I PHONED 911 FOR A AMBULANCE. 8 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL AND GARY DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THE CHEST TUBE, HE RAN DOWNSTAIRS TO FIND A REAL PULMONOLOGIST TO COME TO MY ROOM AND REMOVE THE TUBE. YOU SUCKED BACK THEN AND I'M SURE YOUR WORST NOW.
Excellent physician and I have had good outcome from his recommendations for care and follow up.
Didn't like him at all. Will not listen and doesn't want to do much of anything. Try getting an appt. if you get sick like I did. Could barely breath and I was I needed to wait 5 weeks for an appt. and I was an established patient. He was my Dr. for sleep apnea and asthma. Changing Dr. this week.
Very pleasant and listens, although I would like more help how to prevent future episodes of getting bronchitis and pneumonia. He always trys to come up with something, but I’m not one that likes to keep adding more medications so don’t take all of them.
I have been my 86-year old mother's "patient advocate" for this past year. Dr. Sporn has been consistently dismissive, rude, condescending, abrasive and lacking in grace. He diagnosed my mother as "severe COPD" but has not been forthright about severity of her condition. When i confronted him on the phone today and I asked him directly about her prognosis based on his experience, he stated she had anywhere from 2 months to 2 years left. He refuses to tell her that directly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
