Amazing experience! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend Dr. Winzenried! He has changed my life and I’m beyond grateful.
Poor front end office support and an arrogant leading nurse. Doctor appears to be competent but no bedside manners - aloof and at times condescending. Does not provide an environment for Q & A. No need for this behavior. If symptoms don't point to medical procedures, interest drops off quickly.
Dr. Winzemrief and staff are extremely professional. Always to the point
When I learned my G.I. doctor was retiring I was very sad. He has helped me and my husband get through many tough times in our health. I had to see Dr. Winzinread for my colonoscopy because of this. Never again! I did not like his attitude, I did not like how he spoke about my issues in the past. I overheard him speaking with someone in recovery about another doctor. I thought it was very unprofessional, and he was very dismissive with me during recovery.
Met him as an inpatient 4 years ago at NCH when I was having a bad bout of chronic , gall bladder induced, pancreatitis. Wonderful caring doctor. Have followed up with him yearly since that time. Office staff is very pleasant and capable and the wait time is almost non-existent!!
Jerk Very much like a pig with my issues
The doctor made me feel very honored at ease. He stared at me and kind of snickered under his breath when I was trying to explain to him things that were going on with me. And I did not like the way he kept looking at my daughter, who is there with me.
Dr. And staff are all very professional. They made me feel very comfortable and reassuring.
It is very difficult to make an appointment with this doctor. When you call the appointment line, it is prompted for you to leave a message for his staff to return the call. After trying 3 times, I never did receive a call back. When I finally got the appointment date, my dad had a stroke and passed away on the same day which I couldn't make it. I called 5 hours prior to my appointment time to inform the staff and had proof that my dad expired that morning, and she rescheduled me for another date . A week later, I receive a call from one of the nurse of his office stating the doctor can no longer sees me because he is minimizing his patients load and because I cancelled the appointment on the day of my dad's passing. No sympathy, no caring whatsoever.
He seems to be a nice Doctor when you meet him, but once he performs the colonoscopy, he is done with you. He doesn't see you after the procedure just a nurse hands you a pamphlet at the end. No follow up and no return calls.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
