I was ordered by my Doctor to get a colonoscopy at 50. I was having gas pains during the Covid pandemic of which I mentioned this to him. He wrote me up for this an d disqualified me from claiming the procedure on my insurance. I’ve never received a follow up call or inquiries of any sort since visiting. Poor service bad Referal.

I was referred to this Dr for a 50 yr old colonoscopy of which I was told was mandatory and free. I had mentioned gas pain I’d been having during Covid and when I asked about this it disqualified me from the procedure being insured. Not only did it cost me but I was never given a follow up call or communication beyond my visit. Seems like someone along the way may have thought to mention that it would be an issue. Fail!

Dr. Barrios is by far the most professional, personal, friendly, over-the-top physicians I have ever had. Just a highly qualified knowledgeable doctor that talks in detail about specific patient needs. Right to the point! Great Doctor and a true gentleman. The world needs all Dr Barrios has to offer. Thank you Dr. Barrios for continuing to save my life due to esophageal cancer detected 6/1/11. Our quarterly visits to evaluate my current situation is critical to my survival and Dr. Barrios along with the great staff from check-in to treatment. Very impressed and highly recommended. Upon waking up after general anesthesia I have to comment on how down right nice the nurses, PA's, etc., basically everyone that treated me was. Wow!! just lost for words! Wish I could recall their names but feel they may remember me due to my shorts. Thanks again Dr. Barrios. Let's talk my next visit.

I found Dr. Jan Barrios to be a professional and excellent physician, and nurse Karen very pleasant and also professional. My experience was very pleasant.

He staff is rude and unprofessional. They lack compassion for patients and care more about themselves. They are unworkable and unaccommodating. Dont bother , there are way better Doctors Offices in Naples. In the end Barrios wasnt even there and we had to see a PA

I’m 24 years old, had an upper endoscopy. Everything went great, they very friendly staff. All of my questions were answered.

DR.Barrios is Best Doctor i had ever meet in my life ,very dedicated to his patients and very professional, the staff is wonderful and very helpful, I always get a return phone call when i leave a message , all the nurses are very nice too. i love this office and i would come back if i ever needed again

He did a blind ERCP which totally missed the fact that I had Barrett's Esophagus. In addition to that the biliary obstruction he repaired near my liver is back meaning he did a terrible job. They made this joke the head of the department at NCH!

Dr Jan Barrios seemed to be a great doctor, but his staff and availability is absolutely terrible. They rarely pickup the phone, never followup, and forget to do things, and have an inconsistent office schedule. Everytime I needed something, I had to try over and over and over again to get it done. I was scheduled to pickup and perform a lab on a monday, and the office was closed unexpectedly and they never notified me so I took a day off of work and traveled to naples for nothing. I'm fed up and never going back.

Today I went into see Dr. Barrios not knowing what to expect since this was my first colonoscopy. I also had to add a endoscopy. The staff is very pleasant give me all the information that I needed made me feel very comfortable. The doctor was very informative and took very good care of me and I got my results as soon as I was done. I highly recommend them. Kim
