He was very late for my appointment, one hour, and when he finally shows up, he was talking on the phone and walking as everything was ok, about 30 mi. Later a nurse put me on an room, still no doctor, after almost 2 hours we left with out seeing him.

Dr. Mendiolaza was amazing! His sense of urgency to schedule tests after a high calcium score was much appreciated. Fortunately the test results came back normal and I am now taking a statin. Would highly recommend him. ??

Awful....who serves their unhappy patients with certified letters telling them they are no longer their provider? Quicker with the certified letter than my test results. Had to call his office after 2 weeks for my results. Received a phone call the next day from his nurse telling me my results were ABNORMAL and he wanted to see me the next day at 9:40 am. I was away on a short vacation and stated several times I could not be there. His nurse was adamant they would not give the results over the phone and making the appointment was my only option if i wanted the results. I was very stressed by the news, cut my vacation short and drove the 3 hours back to make the appt. I was told the test results were all normal except for the previously diagnosed SVT and was handed the same literature on SVT that he gave me on my 1st visit. Dr. Mendiolaza and his nurse did not meet the standard level of care and "do no harm" required by their profession including the unnecessary stressful letter.

Dr. Mendioloza serves his unhappy cardiac patients with certified letters terminating the doctor/patient relationship. I had been trying to find a new cardiologist since my 1st visit. Dr. Mendioloza knew I was not coming back and i made that clear at my last visit so why send the certified letter? What cardiologist has his patient run up and down the hall and then take their pulse. Need I say more? Avoid this doctor.

You will not find a doctor who is more caring or invested in his patients well-being. Both my daughter and I see Dr. Mendiolaza, my daughter for a very complex case, and I would not go to anyone else.
