List of John Canterbury's Reviews
From Eleanor and Norman JacquesWe have been patients of Dr. Canterbury for close to 9 years. We could not be more pleased with Dr. Canterburys professionalism accessibility and expertise. It is without hesitation that we recommend Dr. Canterbury and his wonderful staffRespectfullyNorman and Eleanor Jacques
We recently moved to Naples. Getting established with a new physician is not easy. However we found Dr Canterbury to wash away our concerns. He took time to talk to us and address our concerns. His staff is always courteous and friendly. Dr Canterbury is always available for his patients. We highly recommend him. God bless USA 🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏
I give the office 4.5 stars and "round up," because I really like the doctor, very good care, but they need to communicate better for how they handle refill requests. They want you to get in touch with the office directly, could be phone call or patient portal, and they don't take requests from pharmacies. They say, this is to minimize medication mistakes and errors. This is is fine, but it needs to be communicated clearly, especially for new patients, who may be used to a different system, otherwise no complaints...
Dr. Canterbury is an excellent physician but his front office is a chronic problem. Requests do not seem to reach him, responses tend not to occur and it`s always someone else in the office`s fault.
John is a good guy. He is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. I would have rated him a 5 but recently when I needed a prescription refilled his staff was unresponsive. After three calls including the CVS pharmacy I was told they would act on it immediately. I asked what that meant I had no pills left and was told “as soon as they can.” I asked what that meant and was told two to three days knowing I was out of pills. Sorry Dr Canterbury but if you are not able to get better responsiveness out of your staff I have to find someone else who can. I hate being blown off and can’t help but feel that way.
In the "age of the COVID," at first, was hesitant about coming in to a doctor's office, they also offer telemedicine, but since I am a new patient, wanted to meet the doctor in person, and I am glad I did, they have limited in the office appointments, so was not crowded, and everyone wears a mask, staff are helpful and efficient, the doctor takes his time going through everything, did not feel rushed and all my questions were satisfactorily answered, after a long relationship with my excellent doctor in New Hampshire, unfortunately retiring, and us spending about 8 months out of the year in Florida, I am very satisfied to have found a new practice to establish a long term relationship!
very caring practice
A female doctor told me healthcare is sexist.
always able to be seen on short notice, but never feel rushed, telemedicine option also very effective
Truly the best doctor fantastic staffs nurses everyone in the office. Dr. Canterbury saved my dads life. Its not enough space here for me to explain truly onefakind doctor genuinely care for his patients and knowledgeable.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
