Was a little hesitant to use this practice based on the not so glowing reviews posted from past years. However, we had a great experience. The front desk staff were so helpful, and were very patient and courteous in answering all our questions. The technicians were super friendly, and put my 88.5 year old Dad at total ease while receiving his transfusions. Dr. Vato was very thorough and kind when speaking with my dad. Thank you all for taking such good care of my dad, putting him at ease and making him well again!

Thoughtful Honest. Timely What else could you want in a Dr.?

I found Dr Brown to be condescending disrespectful RUDE AND SARCASTIC as well as incompetent. He had a very strange affect and was very uncaring. He initiated no treatment for my condition and sent me on my way. I fortunately was able to followup very quickly with another doctor and received caring aggressive and effective treatment.

I gave up trying to see Dr. Brown after his office staff could find no record of the medical records I FAXED to their office -- TWICE -- with transmissions confirmed. Woman in the office seemed totally lost. I'm a believer in staff reflecting the competence of the actual practitioner. I've tested positive for Lyme Disease apparently contracted in Massachusetts on vacation. I'm now looking now for a medical professional in Fort Meyers, it'll be worth the drive.

I went into Dr Brown after seeing over a dozen specialists over the years. No one could figure out what was wrong with me. By the time I got to him I had hardly any hope. His nurse told me on day 1 honey I don’t know what you are going through but Dr Brown is a mystery solver. She said she sees people finally after years finding out what’s wrong. I wrote it off and was thankful she helped calm me down. Dr Brown ran so many tests and so many things had no answers. I cried and said what else could this be!?! He told me that all my symptoms pointed towards a genetic connective tissue disease. However no one in my family has it. He said there’s a 1% chance I could have a gene mutation. He said I’d need to see genetics. Well you know what HE WAS RIGHT!!!!! I can not thank this man enough for all the extra time he put into me. What I have is extremely rare!!!! This man is the BEST!

Wait times exceed hour and a half. Schedule follow up appointments to say nothing

I think Dr Brown saved my life. I was under treatment by dr vato who did nothing for me. After only one appt he said go to infectious disease for treatments. He put me on daily Amikacin & Tigecycline IV's which took anywhere from 2 hours to 4 for the daily IV's. I continued to get worse for 5 weeks. Slept all the time. Dr Brown came in one day. Stood looking the other way thinking for quite some time. When he looked back at me he said, "I'm going to pull the PICC Line out today. This treatment is too risky for you." Thank you Dr Brown. I still feel the effects of it. I made an appt & went back down to ask him if there is an antidote. He said, "No, it just has to wear off." I still want to sleep too much but it is slowly improving. When I read the side effects of the meds I had 9 effects from each of the lists. Dr Brown, Thank you for seeing beyond the treatments & into my reality. After I was released my son said to me, "I thought you were dying mOm." So did I. Thank God I had a doctor who was knowledgeable & cared enough to see it & take action. I am blessed.

The office staff is pathetic. Couldn't help me in an emergency situation because I was going to be 5 minutes late due to "policy".

I did not choose DR Brown as my physician. He was at NCH were I was admitted through emergency services. First time I met him he apologized for being totally unorganized, would have preferred him to use the time to look at my chart and to know why I was there. My family and friend which visited were very unimpressed. When I told him that my surgeon did not suggest to handle the wound the way the wound care nurses did, which he asked for.. He did not like that surgery was done in Tampa at Moffit. His question the day prior was nobody good enough in Naples to do this for you? Very rude. So after my remark about the care of the wound he looked at me and said:” you know what Hon, you are out of here. Go back to Moffit”. He checked me out without looking at anything in my records. I had gone into heart failure, gained 14.8 lbs during the 4 day hospital stay,,my blood pressure was much higher than normal, when I got home I was in afib and instead of 112 over 84 my bloodpressure was 179 over 112. Would have been nice if DR Brown would have checked my records and noticed something was very wrong here.

I have never been to a physician office where they did not respect my time. My wife and I simply went to get shots and we were not seen for nearly an hour for shots that took 2 minutes. I had confirmed the time and arrived exactly as expected.
