List of Mark Sibley's Reviews
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Sibley who misdiagnosed me with macular degeneration. I, too, went to a reputable eye clinic that examined me and stated there was nothing wrong with my eyes.
Not a good experience. I saw Dr. Sibley while he was in a Naples office in 2019. I must say the Naples staff was wonderful but Dr. Sibley was rude, inappropriate and completely missed my diagnosis of Retinoschisis. Dr. Sibley said the interior of my eye was totally healthy and I was just getting old. I am 56 and do not think that is old. He said my eyes were drying up just as my birthing canal. I was pretty ticked off after that comment. He had the nerve to ask, "are we still friends?" I just wanted out of the exam room as quick as possible. After follow up with a reputable ophthalmologist, who found the condition affecting my eye, I was able to get the assistance and care I needed. I was glad to hear Dr Sibley is no longer workin in the Naples area.
After cataract surgery I can't read from the 3rd line down on the eye chart with my left eye. While driving at night all red or yellow signs and lights appear as big red or yellow X. Also, the glare from other headlights is blinding. Was I expecting too much!! Prior to the surgery I had no problem reading the eye chart with my glasses on, so I expected close to 20 20 vision in both eyes after the surgery. Very disappointed!
At last someone who know what they are talking about... A doctor who does not line his pocket at the expence of patients health by giving harmfull, unnessacery vaccines...
Dr Sibley was a huge disappointment. He has no problem with over booking, and allowing his staff of blondes to talk down to his patients. While the wait in the outer office is ridiculous, being forgotten in a room is deplorable! I could see it getting darker and hearing lights being shut off so I yelled out "I am still here!" Dr Sibley did NOT apologize; he thought it was funny! He was the only one left besides the receptionist who was on her way out! He also had the nerve to still charged me for an office visit after my being there over 4 1/2 hours!! Very unprofessional and the worse experience I have ever encountered.
Very friendly and knowledgeable. Staff is very friendly.
Best eye surgeon around!! Terms years later I see farther than ever and don't need reading glasses.
Dr. Sibley gave me crystal lens in 2010 (left) and 2011 (right). I can see better today than ever!
I have known Dr. Sibley for years, and I have total faith in him. He did my cataract surgery 10 years ago. He is a very caring, compassionate man.
Dr. Sibley performed cataract surgery in both eyes last year (2014) and put in Crystal Lenses. To me the procedure and result were nothing short of miraculous. I recovered beautifully, my sight is restored at almost 20/20, and for the first time in over 50 years I am glasses free. I found Dr. Sibley and his staff courteous, professional, and informative. I always felt he answered all my questions and seemed to have time for me. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
