Had been to ENT specialists for bouts of horrific ear pain, was placed on antibiotics and antihistamines without relief. Only Dr Macvenn correctly diagnosed TMJ syndrome, now muscle relaxant immediately relieves my pain.

The services that I received from Dr Macvenn were excellent. Dr Macvenn and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I would have no qualms in recommending her to my family and friends. Dr Macvenn explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff were great – they were helpful, patient and helped with my insurance. Wonderful experience when coming to her office. Dr. Macvenn is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment.

I've been to Dr. Macvenn's urgent care on two occasions--once for contact dermatitis (a rash), the other for a Covid test. On both visits, I found her to be thorough, professional, and compassionate. She asked good 'probing' questions to be sure that she understood the history of my symptoms. When my rapid Covid test came back negative (I often have allergies, but had lost my sense of smell so decided to get tested) she followed up with a PCR test to double-check, and recommended that I lay low 'just in case' until the 2nd test came back. I followed her recommendations, and when the PCR test eventually came back positive, I felt good knowing that I hadn't exposed others during the 2-day wait. Additionally, she called me personally with the test results to be sure to answer any other questions. With the insane number of patients an urgent care physician sees each day (especially during Covid!) the personal attention and care I received was exemplary.

Dr. Macvenn is a welcoming, personable, and compassionate physician. Our whole family has seen her on multiple occasions and she has always taken extremely good care of us. Dr. Macvenn is thorough, she truly listens to her patients, and takes her time with each visit. Highly recommend!

Great bedside manner, always takes the time to explain things.

DO NOT GO HERE!! She is so rude and unprofessional! My wife went in for a COVID diagnosis. She has sinus issues and has sinus infections often. After finding out that my wife and I went out of town for a few days and one of those days was spent at Disney Springs this person went off on my wife calling her selfish and that she had exposed everyone at Disney Springs to the virus because she had Covid. She told my wife that she should have stayed home. For one my wife was fine when we left just a little stuffy nose nothing different than symptoms she has had in the past. Regardless of that this Doctor’s attitude was highly unprofessional and made my wife feel even worse. Highly disappointed in the treatment received. On top of that she told my wife her oxygen level was low 82 and needed to go to the hospital and then just let her leave even though that is in a danger zone. Uncaring and unprofessional!

Very pleasant and sharp physician. Dr. MacVenn has always listened attentively, nailed the problem and corrected it. Fortunate to have caught her several times on call, the best of the best.

Dr. Melissa McVenn totally misdiagnosed me. I knew she was totally off. I told her I had come back from Mexico 2 days ago and was having high fever with chills, diffuse abdominal pain and multiple bouts of watery diarrhea with blood. She said it was common cold or flu (rapid flu test done by her was negative), and sent me home with Tamiflu script. I wasn’t satisfied with her diagnosis, went to another doctor and was diagnosed with bacterial gastroenteritis and dysentery. Was put on antibiotics
