He’s friendly, takes the time to listen & really cares about his patience’s. The employees are very nice & very clean office.

I’ve been with Dr Melwyn DSouza for a a little over a month now and each time I have seen or spoken to him he takes his time to explain things to me and makes ne feel cared for. Uncommon in today’s medical world.

I first started seeing Dr. D'Souza back in 2018 and then I changed insurance. I am now back in his network and happy to be a patient again. He takes time when you visit and gives you clear information about your health. I highly recommend him to everyone.

Never went to a primary care office where they never check vital signs. They dont have an MA or a nurse. All they do is refill medications.

Best Doctor Ever.

On July 7th I went to see my PCP to get my prescriptions refilled he came into the room with his computer took some information from me and typed it into the computer and said it's sent and went home and waited for my deliveries and a week or so past and nothing so I checked both optimum Rx and Byram Healthcare to find that my prescriptions were never submitted so I called the office and spoke to the secretary and was told that it would be taken care of so I waited a while longer can check online again and nothing was done I started receiving phone calls from optimum Rx and Byram Healthcare that nobody can get ahold of the doctor not answering the phone only leaving messages and faxes that were not responded to so I started calling every couple of days and speaking to the secretary and was told it would be taken care of by this time I got fed up it was a month-and-a-half and still nothing was accomplished found three out of the six prescriptions were filled to work required speaking to the doctor directly who never answers the phone and one my insulin was told I needed to call Medicare which I've never had to do in my life and switch something that only Medicare and the doctor needed to speak directly to so I finally filed a complaint with the Florida Board and UnitedHealthcare to get results but it could be 30 days or more before anything is resolved

Dr. Melwyn D'Souza I found to incompetent. Not that my medical conditions are rare, he simply had limited knowledge. The appointment was rushed and the Office is in need improvement. No Privacy as you can hear through the walls. The Receptionist area had papers all over like I never saw before. Gulfcoast MD PA needs to make some investments into their business and hire professional help. To my understanding they had a Medical Assistant working for them that had a Criminal history for armed robbery ! Very Scary.

Dr. Melwyn D'Souza is the husband of Dr. Raynita D'Souza. He works the NCH, Naples area and she does Gulf Coast in Ft Myers. They are quick with the Rx Pad to write medications. I just p/u a list of all my Rx filled at my pharmacy for the years 2020 and 2021. Melwyn's name is there for prescribing to me both pain medications and anxiety medications on the same day !! Both my Pharmacist and new Doctor advised me of this deadly combination causing respiratory distress and death! I will never return to either of them.

I found this Office to very dirty and was afraid to touch anything. His wife Roynita has terrible handwriting and Quest Labs could not make out anything. They tried calling the Office and the phone just rings. The record keeping is horrendous, unless of course Melwyn takes a week manufacturing Office Notes. The Office Staff are amateurs , where they find the personnel is beyond me. You always judge an Office by the front staff. On Wall Street where I worked for 20 years, Offices always placed the most pretty and articulate employee out front to greet customers. I would not trust Melwyn or Roynita, his wife with my medical care. They are merely Rx writers of anything you ask for in your name or a family member's name.

Mr. Melwyn as The President of his Practice fails to do background checks on employees. He is the Husband of Raynita Chetana D'Souza who was in charge of the Pain Clinic dishing out Opiods years back. He will not spend the money and as a result hired a medical assistant with a lengthy criminal history, one of the charges being armed robbery! Imagine having this person taking your blood pressure? This is the same person who swiped Rx Pads from Ft Myers Office.
