List of MIchael Lusk's Reviews
Dr. Lusk is a very skilled surgeon. Dr Lusk takes the time to evaluate each patient induvidually. He took me from constant pain with no quality of life to having a full, painfree life. Thank you, Dr. Lusk and all staff.
Just figured I’d put my two cents in on this terrible doctor. I saw him over 11 years ago now in Fort Myers, FL. I had a back injury that was work comp related. He didn’t care at all that I was in pain. Told me to take Alieve and go back to full time work and to “suck it up”. Which I was working at Comcast as an install & service technician at that time. He caused my work comp payments to stop in about only a week because of his write up. He helped cause me to have to file for bankruptcy because I wasn’t getting work comp money and couldn’t go back to work. Which in turn ruined my perfect credit I had. I tried to go back to work and couldn’t even lift a ladder off the ground. So I just got sent back home. 11 years later I’m still suffering from my back pain with no relief. I’d rate him as absolutely one of the worst doctors I’ve ever seen. Not surprised he is a work comp doctor as it fits his skill level. If you actually want medical care. I highly advise you don’t go to Dr. Lusk.
Dr Lusk literally saved my life. After my third stroke he performed surgery on me and I’m forever grateful!
This was the worst medical experience of my life. He is retiring tomorrow and I could tell. There isn’t enough room to talk about how rude, condescending, and unprofessional he was. Right when I sat down he starts telling me how wearing masks to prevent covid is all political and I should have walked away right then and there. I’m appalled by how he treated me and my boyfriend. He literally told me to webmd something when I asked him what it was. I’m sick over this.
Highly recommend Dr Lusk! Was able to secure an appointment with him within a week. He took the time to discuss the current issues, level of pain, mobility/stability levels & ordered tests to be done to determine causes. Thankfully, the pain my husband was experiencing was not coming from the spine so Dr Lusk, referred him to a Rheumatologist & pain management doctor for further examination. He is following his progress with the other doctors. He has a very calm demeanor & wonderful bedside manner. Highly recommend him!!
Dr. Lusk was thorough, gave great advice and solid expectations. I went to physical therapy as he recommended and continue with the neck stretching he directly encouraged. He is very professional and direct, which I appreciate.
I had lumbar surgery in December 2017. I now am in more pain than I was before surgery and have to walk with a cane. I should have taken the time to get a second opinion from someone other than a NASA surgeon.
Dr. Lusk was simply great, from the first appointment, through my surgery (L4-5 Coflex Interlamimar Implant) and post-op. He spent all the time I wanted in discussing the alternatives and potential issues. Surgery was entirely successful. I highly recommend him.
Wait time was quite long but he seems like an excellent doctor...even for a Trump supporter.
My son died from a traumatic brain injury. He was with my son when he died, yet he chose to send another doctor on the floor to break the news instead of coming to me in person.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
