MIchael Novak's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Novak was my doctor a few years back and was also my mother's, father's and husband's doctor as well. I have two new issues I need for HIM to evaluate, not my regular physician who are NOT specialists. Tried booking appt on their "preferred" online site. That was three weeks ago and still waiting. Called three more times via telephone. Got messaging system each time. Again, no one called me back and that was within a two week period. Had my husband call first thing in the morning and he got a hold of a "receptionist" who told him I need to get an MRI and be REFERRED to him. For one thing I need HIM to send me for an MRI after evaluating me himself like he has always done in the past. I am extremely disappointed in him & his staff and in him since he must have told them how he wants his appointments done now. He was a good doctor, but you are only as good as your office staff which reflects on your competence, abilities and expertise and this is unacceptable!

I arrived at the appointed time. After an hour of waiting I inquired if my appointment was going to happen and the receptionist responded “hope to get to you before noon….we are running behind today”. My time is just as valuable so I said goodbye and left. Never saw the Doc. I’ll find another more professional group to do business with.

One week of phone call to make an appointment and still have not talked to a human.no return calls.very hostile receptionist finally answers and fails to identify herself.i would not have my toenails clipped at this place

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Novak's for 10 years now. As my husband & myself do not have any issues with Dr. Novak..but his office staff leaves a lot to be desired! NO ONE answers the phone..we tried for 4 days to get my husbands MRI results back, we left messages & finally after calling the billing office & being transferred to the office we were able to speak with a human. Today, we saw my husband's oncologist..who also has been leaving messages & emails & they won't even answer another physician. Totally incompetent office staff.

Can’t get an appt and the patient service is terrible. Takes on average +20 mins to answer the phone and then 2 weeks to get an appt. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere.

The staff was friendly and Dr. Novak really took his time checking out my husband's headache problem.

My first visit went well. The second visit I had an 8 o'clock appointment which was one of the first appointments of the day. After an hour of waiting, I went up to the front desk and asked why am I still waiting and she the doctor had yet to come in for his appointments. I rescheduled the appointment. The next appointment, was also early in the day. Waited 1 1/2 hours and got up and left. The staff couldn't have been less helpful. It shows a lack of respect for the patient.

Rare to find a Neurologist so knowledgeable about headaches. Great bedside manner and conversationalist! I am glad I met Dr. Novak.

Great guy! Very friendly and professional. He takes his time in answering all patient queries.
