List of MIguel Madariaga's Reviews
Dr. Madarriaga is an incredible doctor. The kind of doctor, you would expect all doctors to be like. He saw my husband for a serious and rare sinus infection and was the only doctor able to figure it out and treat it after many years of dealing with this problem. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable and kind. His concern and compassion for his patients is very evident and this gives you a sense of peace in that you are in the best hands. His nurse Lupe is adorable but everyone in the office is extremely kind and helpful. Thank you for taking such good care of my husband, Dr. Madariaga! I would recommend him and the office without hesitation!
I made three appointments on referral from my personal physician, Dr. Madariaga’s office cancelled my appointment each time. The 3rd time I was told they would call me to reschedule my appointment but I never heard from them.
As far as I’m concerned Dr. Miguel is the most compassionate and wonderful doctor in Naples Florida. Iris sissler
I had a GREAT experience with Dr. Madariaga. He was so knowledgeable and knew right away what was going on with me. The reason I gave two stars is because his office staff was SO rude in the office and over the phone. They hung up on me twice and never returned my call for results on lab work.
Dr. Miguel is a compassionate, brilliant doctor. He made me feel comfortable in the ICU, general hospital; and helped me transition home. He was on top of the meds, chemistry, and got me better without ever knowing what was wrong. I was a “medical mystery” and he still did all the right treatments to save my life. I wouldn’t trust any other infectious disease team the same way. His practice is phenomenal and so compassionate. It is worth the wait times in his office to know they are truly saving lives. Be patient with the office, it will be worth it and the wait time might just mean they’re at an ICU saving a young persons life like they did mine.
I did not see Dr Madariaga at his office, but at NCH Downtown when I was an inpatient. I have been a RN for 24 years and I am pretty critical of MD’s. This man washed hands coming and going, introduced himself, gave me his card, spent time talking with me about treatment, plan of care, and the illness itself. He could not have been more patient, knowledgeable, concerned, or caring toward my illness and recovery. I also met a couple of the other MD’s that he works with at his ID practice, and they too were all 5 stars in my book. Don’t know why the poor reviews. I would not hesitate to see this group outpatient, if needed.
Today I went to this office for an infection and was very concerned. The entire staff was so helpful and kind. Dr Madariaga was so gentle and thoughtful. He made a somewhat nervous procedure calm. He shows so much compassion and I would highly recommend him. The nurse who assisted was also so gentle. This office is professional as well as empathetic to their patients.
When the surgeon and other doctors were giving up, Dr Miguel insisted on another scan and he was right. He found an infection that was missed. Wonderful bedside manner and terrific doctor....
I have seen the Doctor several times for various infections requiring hospitalization. When possible the infection was explained in detail to me. A care plan was established. I have had intravenous antibiotic treatments at the Doctors office. I would recommend this Doctor to my friends and family.
Requested a second opinion from him while I was in the hospital. He refused to see me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
