Physicians Regional Pine Ridge - Emergency Room's Online Review Report Card

Doesn’t get really any worse when it comes to health care. First of all, God forbid if you ever require immediate attention from your doctor as they are all overbooked, there is zero protocol in place for emergencies other than dial 911, no care advisor to set up a team of health care providers to address your health issue, and a patient can never directly speak to anyone who actually works at physicians regional. All communication must go through the answering service that I’ve dubbed Fort Hard Knocks. While they may seem pleasant at first, this out of state based answering service will surely test your patience as a physicians regional patient . If you have any type of urgent or ongoing health issue, you will notice that your messages aren’t actually being relayed to doctors office or perhaps doctors office gets messages but will tell you they never got the messages!. After blowing my knee out the day before, this is the most recent lie I was given by the answering service after I questioned them about what I should do since I can’t or they can’t get ahold of anyone at my primary’s office. I told service rep that my knee hurts, kneecap area is all swollen and a bone is sticking out- this is their response: “I’ve placed you on urgent list as someone who needs immediate attention. Your primary care’s nurse will call you back shortly with a time to come to your primary’s office ithis afternoon”. I never got a phone call from my primary’s nurse and when I tried calling back my doctor via Fort Hard Knocks, the representative said there was no documentation of my earlier phone call only a few from prior day requesting a referral for an orthopedic. This type of disorganized procedural chaotic nightmare happens frequently ands will leave one scratching their head and rubbing their aching knee where the bone is sticking out thinking now what? I now drive to urgent care which will no longer see me as it’s 6:15pm and now it’s off to er and a small fortune out of pocket for the deductible.Two months prior I had to make 17 calls to my primary’s office via Fort Hard Knocks answering service to get a referral for a hand orthopedic. My primary said nothing in response when for the first time after being diagnosed with leukemia, I voluntarily described my symptoms. I had to inform her that I had leukemia even though my oncologist has been sending her office bimonthly updates!. Don’t feel well and I Feel Like a Number - Bob Seger

MRI experience and writeup as expected or better...

We went to the Physicians Regional ER after enduring a four hour wait elsewhere. When we arrived I was admitted within 15 minutes, and evaluation tests were initiated immediately (even though they were very busy). Highly recommend this ER

Terrible service, terrible patient treatment.Very weird staff members as well, CHELSEA FLETCHER , was very rude and personally reached out to my friend online whom was a patient there on Facebook to take down an honest review about this place… which in itself is unprofessional.She could have done the right thing and offered better service next time or at the very least an apology or asking how my friends next visit could be better or how the visit they had should’ve been handled…Along with violating HIPAA laws by doing what was mentioned above.And “Anna Kaso” called my friend a c*nt and took their phone as if she was some school warden.It seems as if this place either needs new staff members, or the current staff members just need some serious attitude checks.But if I’m ever in this area and in need of assistance, I will definitely not be coming here.Oh and let me not forget all the things my friend who will NOT be named was promised food, medication, assistance, and was left for 13 hours with nothing, not even an ounce of respect. Except the one doctor who was nice enough to return their phone.

My care was absolutely a five star. The four is only because of the incredibly long waits to be seen. In fairness the waits are everywhere.

Had a scheduled colonoscopy screening. Very simple check in. Dr Cohen was great. The entire staff was attentive caring and informative. I felt in very good hands.

This review goes out to the superb staff at Physician’s Regional Lab. My visit was for lab work requested by Naples Urology and Physician’s Regional Medical Group. The check in with Rose was seamless and thorough. She is very professional and she takes her responsibilities with a pleasant smile and demeanor. I had no wait to see the lab tech, who was equally pleasant and very professional. (Very rare to have blood drawn, and have no hematoma afterwards.)Overall, a class act of professionals!
