Price Sonkarley's Online Review Report Card

This was my first visit with Dr Sonkarly, he was very understanding, compassionate and thorough! He replaced my Dr, whom I loved and I was so skeptical, but my visit was a pleasure and I will continue to use him. My husband was with me since this was a vertigo visit. My husband is a tough critic and we both came away feeling relieved to have a good doctor to resolve our issues!

We went to see Dr. Sonkarley because my husband was having difficultly lying on his back- difficulty with phlegm and swallowing especially at night while trying to sleep. Dr Sonkarley used the long tube to see up my husband's nose and down his throat and said my husband had enlarged secondary tonsils and that my husband should see a sleep clinic for sleep apnea. Luckily we went to another ENT who sent my husband directly for a CT scan, saw a surgeon and had a biopsy in 24 hours. My husband has stage 2 tongue cancer (never a smoker) and it is in 7 lymph nodes. Had we listened to Dr Sonkarley, my husband's cancer would have kept spreading. My husband begins chemo (1 time a week) - and radiation (every weekday) for 7 weeks on Wednesday. He has an excellent chance of a cure. This was a huge misdiagnosis. My husband would probably have been stage 4 metastasized with no chance of cure had we had followed Dr. Sonkarley's plan of action. We would definitely NOT recommend Dr. Sonkarley.

Excellent physician, very professional, great individual as well. Accurate diagnosis and solution to my sinus problem. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of an ear nose and throat specialist.

Dr. Sonkarley was on time, friendly, treated my ear problem nicely and I will return in 2 weeks for a followup visit. He seems to know his stuff, very nice doctor.

Price Sonkarley prescribed medicine for my condition. I got the medicine filled and looked on a reputable website about the medication. It said there are serious side effects if taken with my current meds. I contacted my pharmacy and they said they also got a red flag for interactions with my current meds but overrode it because he prescribed it. I asked Price Sonkarley about it at my next appointment. He couldn't give a good answer for prescribing it. I came to 2 appointments with him and both times he pops up and leaves after about 2 minutes without my questions answered.

Called medical office on a Saturday with after hours emergency looking for guidance on what to do. Big mistake. Dr. Sonkarley returned the call, and immediately began to berate me because he wasn't "on call" and told me to go to Urgent Care. I asked him if the necessary procedure could be done at either the hospital or urgent care. He said he "didn't know" and kept expressing how upset he was his answering service contacted him, and complained that he is not "on call." He said "I don't even know why I'm calling you. I'm not on-call." I was shocked by the way he treated me. I told him I couldn't answer anything about his office procedures but just looking for help and I called his listed office phone number. When I asked him who I was supposed to call if not his office, he hung up on me. I have never been treated this badly by a physician and will transfer to another practice, and see if there is a way to file official complaint.

Had tests done prior to visiting the doctor. He looked at my mouth for a very short time and diagnosed me with Burning Mouth Syndrome. Put me prednisone and said if that doesn't work we could try a topical steroid/antidepressants. The prednisone didn't work and I called and left a message to tell him expecting him to have me try something else. Instead, his assistant called me back and said "There is nothing else we can do". I you want to make an office appointment to discuss this further, feel free" ($$$). Why tell me there are additional options when I am in your office and then have your assistant call and say there aren't when the 1st treatment doesn't work.

I went to Dr Sonkarley complaining about a lump in my throat in December 2021. He saw a lump but dismissed my case as acid reflux. As my symptoms worsened, I went back to him one month later. Again he dismissed my case as acid reflux. I knew he was wrong by how I felt. I went to another ENT on 2/2/22 who spent 3 weeks doing extensive testing/biopsies and on 3/1/22 diagnosed me with throat cancer and I start radiation/chemo shortly. Dr Sonkarley’s POOR knowledge worsened my case substantially allowing my tumor to grow substantially. Do NOT go to him for help! He is NOT good in my opinion!

Dr Sonkarley did great work! Latera Implants 3 weeks ago have changed my life. Excellent surgeon!!

WHAT a wonderful office..From check in to check out..I thought to myself I am not sure if this office is required to go to a training class to better serve their patients or not but they are ALL like friends. The kindness and friendship I was given was better than any office I have been to. Dr.Sonkarley was wonderful as well.. that really matters to me .My experience was a VERY good one..
