This doctor seems to listen and is knowledgeable, he did not solve our issue and referred us to another specialist. His nurse Pam is another story she is rude, impatient, condescending and in the wrong profession. People go to a doctor for a reason, they need compassion and understanding, not an impatient rude nurse who acts like she is doing you a favor by letting you into the exam room. She is not pleasant on the phone or in person, just not to have to deal with her, I would not go back to this doctor. I hope she reads this and I hope she will treats future patients with more respect than she showed us.

I was given another gastroenterologist to perform my colonoscopy. I researched him and I decided to do my own research. After reading many reviews I decided on Dr Prabakaran. We had our consultation at his offices on Bonita Beach road. Due to a front desk mix up we they forgot me. Not the doctors fault. These things do happen due to covid and the season coming on in Naples. Anyways, to make a long story short I was scheduled for my colonoscopy and I arrived a few minutes late. The Dr. performs his colonoscopies at the NCH BONITA SPRINGS HOSPITAL. From the front desk, to pre-op, to surgery, to post op I had the GREATEST EXPERIENCE ever. EVERYONE there was just so considerate and kind I look forward to going back. My whole experience was like going to a high class spa in Bali or Hawaii! I was nervous about this colonoscopy and now I look forward to a revisit in a year. Thank you all for making this a painless and wonderful experience for me. And Dr you are the greatest. Keep up your great work!

I had a successful endoscopy procedure with Doctor Prabakaran. Few years after, I went to see him, with a referral from my doctor to check if I might be impacted by a gastrocardiac symptom or Roemheld syndrome that involves a complex of symptoms where issues with the gut are found to be associated with cardiac symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain, nausea, palpitations, skipped beats, and arrhythmias. I had tachycardia attacks and shortness of breath after eating. The doctor told me this syndrome was not existing and typed it into his database to show there were no results. He was also not aware of what was a gastrocardiac symptom. I was a bit astonished by the lack of knowledge in this area and didn't want to continue the conversation with something he obviously was not aware of. I showed the details on Wikipedia for his awareness and maybe a future patient. He told to try to find a "university to get tested" and that he was not able to do anything but charged me a long visit.

Dr. Prabakaran is an outstanding physician specialist. He took all the time to explain options and provide advice. I give him the strongest recommendation
