List of Ralph Ryback's Reviews
Has his own agenda, imo. Terrible listener. Made inappropriate and misogynistic comments. Careless prescriber. Messages & calls never returned. Dirty work left to others. Charges never explained beforehand. Assumes too much. Overall, a bad experience, and a waste of my time. Unethical & unprofessional, imo. So many are. Shameful. Choose wisely!
I appreciate the time & efforts of understanding that Dr. Ryback has given me, as a client. I genuinely believe that he cares for his clients' well-being & does his best to combine all of his experience, along with putting himself in our shoes. I feel heard & seen. I also like that he is very straightforward. (And sometimes, slightly sarcastic, which makes for good comedic relief) :)
Dr.Ryback is the 1st Dr. In over a decade that has actually cared about my well being. Our first conversation he got to know a lot about me that I was not aware of. He now has me medicinally leveled out. It took a visit every 2 weeks but we worked together and nailed it!!!! Yes, he lets you actually put your knowledge in as well. Thank You Doc!!!!
I like the guy, he has a lifetime of experience and he's got some unique methods of perscribing medications unlike any other psychiatrist I have ever been to. His advice really helped me to see some things that I haven't gotten from a therapist.
I've seen Dr. Ryback for about a year now, and I am very pleased with his professionalism, his immense knowledge of myriad therapies and his involvement in research, as well. He is incredibly kind and understanding with his clients. He takes time with each individual and listens to their concerns and goals. I am so glad I found him!
Dr. Ryback saved my life. I make no bones about that. Saw him at my lowest point in life, barely able to function, and now I've made huge strides, and am regaining myself and remembering who I am, and he's who made it possible. Brilliant scientist and physician.
Ryback was horrible to me. He was a doctor at the Vines hospital and he asked me a bunch of questions about bipolar symptoms. I said no to most of them, so he said that I am clearly bipolar. He also refused to listen to anything I said and claimed that I would be less fat if I skipped some meals at the hospital. He also threatened to commit me long term when I said that I didn't remember the details about getting an injury because people just don't get drunk and get hurt. Worst doctor I've seen.
He’s a drug dealer. He doesn’t take insurance and he’ll write you whatever u want for cash. He’s damn near 80 years old and just trying to rack up that cash before he retires. Controlled substances for cash and he’s your man. Benzos, amphetamines, sleep pills and bupe no problem. Prolly even pain management. Scripts for cash
Called three (3) times, assistant/nurse "please leave Dr a voicemail, he returns all calls within 24hours and does his own scheduling." Three (3) weeks later, not one return phone call from the Doctor or his Staff - PATHETIC. Avoid
Dr Ryback is probably the BEST Psychiatrist in the Country! He doesn’t just throw medicines at you but treats the symptoms.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
