Robert Pascotto's Online Review Report Card

This man saved my life. I was diagnosed with a 5.2 cm aortic aneurysm that was not reported by a previous radiologist. As soon as it was discovered I was scheduled to see Dr. Pescotto. He sent me for additional testing And we decided surgery was the best option. He also told me that if it was more complicated I could choose to go to Gainesville. He did not try to sway me in anyway to use him. I thought he was genuinely concerned to do the right thing for me and my situation. My surgery was more complicated than we both expected as I had to be put in hypothermia. He was there when I woke up and and he was there the day I was released from the hospital even though he wasn’t scheduled to be there. His team with the aftercare were phenomenal. They immediately returned all phone calls and went out of their way to put me at ease. Though I hope I never have to see him again for surgery, I do know if I did have an issue he would be the only one I would go to.

Dr Pascotto is a skilled and very professional surgeon who takes the time to answer questions and to understand the patients concerns. His staff is also professional and compassionate and work well with him to help the patient through what is always a difficult time.

Dr Pascotto performed open heart surgery on me in December 2021. My surgery was a success and I have this marvelous surgeon to thank. It takes a brilliant mind to do what he does daily…but it takes a brilliant heart to care about those patients far beyond the surgery. I’m not sure “thank you” quite covers it but there it is from my heart.

My husband recently had triple bypass and aortic valve replacement and we are both eternally grateful for Dr. PASCOTTO and his expertise he was kind compassionate to both myself and my husband. I can't thank you enough and will highly recommend you to any one I know.

My father had a massive heart attack and Dr. Pascotto was his surgeon. Him and his team are amazing, we could not be more happy with the way things have gone. Thank you for taking such great care of my dad!

Dr pascotto knowingly killed my father! He put the wrong size heart valve in and knew it on the first X-ray and lied and said X-ray looked good. 5 months of nothing but torture and a horrible way to slowly die. I never saw him once in that 5 months. I had to take him to physicians regional for them to tell me the truth about the valve. Never trust you or your loved ones in his hands. No compassion no nothing with this man! My dad was only 62 and this was his first surgery in his lifetime. Dr. Pascotto did not feel my dad was worth going back in for another 3 hrs surgery! This isn’t the first person either. He’s a horrible doctor.

Dr Pascotto JR was on call the night my wife at 60 years old needed open heart surgery . We were shocked to say the least, she is a health nut, works out all the time. Found out she needed triple bypass surgery immediately .. nurses told me how lucky we were to have him on call. I did some research while I was waiting for her to be prepped for the surgery and was at ease once I read about all his successes and all his accolades. Stop me from climbing the walls for sure. I can tell you the surgery was a huge success, found out her condition was hereditary. The surgery was on December 2021, my wife has recovered beautifully and we are working out and she is ready for golf.. Thank you Dr Pascotto, not only did you save my wife, you saved “my”life!! Here’s to 30 more years!!

Triple bypass, what an amazing doctor. He not only made sure all was well, he stopped by every day to check on me!! No question I would recommend him too my friends..

Emergency triple bypass for me and same for my brother in law couple years ago. We both over 78. Can’t see why anyone would leave a bad review. This guy puts it on the line each time. High risk patients. I’ll always be his “poster boy”. He my “Wizard”. Eternally thankful. NCH Heart Institute was fabulous.
